MyDigital ID is an identity management and transaction signing platform. Contemporary implementations are often vulnerable, arising from various factors e.g. hostile applications on device, insecure communication channels and server-side storage of user credentials/keys i.e. roaming certificates. MyDigital ID app does not provide any digital ID. It requires 3rd party application to integrate with it.

Applying through phone app doesn't work. Always error at photo/face recognition stage. Quite a useless app. Government apps are there to make things easier for its citizens. Your app is the complete opposite. Was told by friends that the digital id is only valid for one year. Why? Shouldn't it be permanent? [Update] Eventually, had to find a physical kiosk to register; which was another ordeal in itself. Why is it valid for one year? It's your IC (digital form). That is never going to change.

Needed 3 attempts with the app before succeeding. I believe the problem is when taking pictures of the IC. MUST make sure the alignments of national emblem & face for the front, and the two for the back, are perfect. Or very, very close to, which means to use both hands to control any shaking. The app should ask us to immediately repeat if they are not. Instead of continuing with the process, and only later telling we are unsuccessful (and having to repeat).

Totally useless app. Tried 10x to register online but always failed. Went to a kiosk at Tealive to register but the kiosk mykad reader couldn't work. The guys at Tealive tell me that the equipment at the kiosk had been faulty for the longest time but no replacement had been forthcoming. And they had not been taught to troubleshoot in case of any issues. Really useless app. Whoever developed this should be ashamed.

The app does not rescale properly to my phone (Galaxy s22) so the language option is not accessible. I tried for over 10 times and failed to register, at the face recognition, or at MyKad registration, or even trying to load the MyKad capture screen. The error messages are useless in informing me what went wrong, saying only an error occurred, try again. Is it server overload? Is it camera capture problem? Is it app issue? No idea, cannot tell, so cannot try anything different when trying again.

The app is not smart enough to handle different phone display settings. At the beginning, I couldn't find the button 'Seterusnya' at step 2. After I changed my phone font size to smaller, then only can proceed. The app developer must take immediate action on this, pls.

Your app interface sucks!!! After I keyed in the OTP, I can't even click SUBMIT button bcos it's wayyyy at the bottom. Can't scroll or push it up. No matter how I changed the display & navigation setting, nothing works. It's just bad. Now pls give me a solution for this headache.

This is one of the worst app i ever used. Build by a total newb. Can't even get it registered after a few times trying, slow and bad UI design, tried on 2 phones, one can't even display anything right. At the end asked to go to any Kiosk to cancel and redo. As an expert software architect/techlead which has more than 20 years of industry experience, i would really rate it very poor implementation.

App keep saying information is incorrect when I put in name and IC. Update on 6/11/24 : finally able to register but the app is not scaled properly on Samsung s22 ultra. I am not a le to toggle language as it's being blocked off by top notification bar. Please fix this.
