Volume Control is extremely easy to use. Simply tweak existing or create new pre-defined volume profiles, and toggle between them with just a single touch. Individual profiles are comprised of: Alarm, Media, Ringer, Notification, Voice (in-call), Bluetooth and overall system volume.
AUTOMATED CONVENIENCE
Volume Control also detects when you insert headphones or activate Bluetooth, and automatically toggles to your preferred volume profile. You can even create automatic scheduled presets based on time of day, physical location, or a calendar event.
For example, if you plan to head into a business meeting, simply tell the app to turn off your ringer at precisely that time. Of if you're heading for a workout, tell the app to pump up the volume when you arrive at the fitness club. The list of possibilities is virtually limitless!

My phone's physical volume control was not working. So, I installed this app on my mobile phone. But now, ringtone volume is persistently locked into 0%, and I cannot increase ringtone volume as it is locked (in system's setting). I even tried adjusting Volume control apps setting with no avail.

It's okay, it works for what I need. The only thing I don't like is that every time I change from day to night I get the notification ding. I can't figure out how to turn that off? All I need is a widget that I can automatically turn on or off the volume at a set time that I choose on to turn low at night when I go to bed, and then when I get up in the morning it the volume goes back to a higher volume of my choosing.

I'm trying to find a way to stop apps from hijacking my volume controls I was hoping that this app might help but only not only does it not help it actually makes it worse by not allowing me to control the volume directly. It's overly complicated and really is just the place for watching more ads without really providing any help at all

For what it is, it does okay, but when you say "control," I imagine being able to control much more than the system allows anyway. While it is nice to be able to, for instance, change the Bluetooth volume before connecting to a device in order to not get blasted out by it right away, there is no way to control the volume of individual apps. Example: mute a game while having the music player on. That's what I would call ultimate control!

I just edit the rating because this is not only useful app! It is a love at first use, for myself. If I could afford, I would get the paid version to see how much better it is. With floating icon to use touch screen instead of breaking buttons . Exellent while using Youtube, radio apps with volume constantly up&down for advertsmts and with all sound apps.Could have an equalizer for music,adjustable transp.BUT as for the free version I truly love it as it is!One of the best, 100% SATISFIED+☺😊.

doesnt actually control volume very well... the buttons on my device no longer control the volume properly and this was my only volume controller. I frequently miss calls and messages because the notifications SAY 100%, but are actually totally muted. Using the free version, but theres no way I'd pay for an app that doesn't function properly anyway. good luck.

The app is wonderful! I love all the features & still learning more! I wish Google synced system & notifications rather than merging phone ringer & notifications. 🙄... That said, I knocked one star off because when I first downloaded it about a year ago, it crashed my Pixel 2 XL (barely recoverable)! Then I notified the developer via email w/ a detailed description, and asked for an email when this issue was fixed & app updated. It took 5 days to receive an insignificant first, and only, reply.

Sometimes the volume control works fine. Sometimes it "unlocks" on its own, & then I miss calls. Also the ads are very, very intrusive and difficilt to get around. That's why only four stars. No fewer than four stars because it's the only app that is simple and allows the user to "on or off" the volume and "lock" it. Thx!
