UniPatcher allows you to apply patches to game ROMs.

What is a patch?
A file with the modified data of the game. For example, a game translated from Japanese to English. You download the patch containing the translation. It must be applied to the Japanese version to make an English version of it.

This program will not help you hack native Android games, it was created for the old console games (SNES, PS1, GBA, N64, SMD\Genesis etc.)

Features:
* Supported formats of patches: IPS, IPS32, UPS, BPS, APS (GBA), APS (N64), PPF, DPS, EBP, XDelta3
* Create XDelta patches
* Fix the checksum in SMD\Genesis ROMs
* Remove the SMC header from SNES ROMs

How to use?
You have to select a ROM file, a patch and choose which file to save, then click on the red round button. Files are selected through the standard Files application (or through one of the file managers you have installed). The application will show a message when the file is patched. Do not close the application until the file is patched.

Very important:
If the game and patch is compressed (ZIP, RAR, 7z or other), they first need to be unzipped.

I mostly use this for patching GBA and N64 hacks. 95% of the time, it works flawlessly. The other 5% of the time, it doesn't work very well at all; but this is more of an issue with the actual files than the app itself. Sometimes you just gotta use a Windows or Linux desktop PC/laptop for a tiny handful of hacks. Generally, though, anything you want to run on emulators will work fine.

5 stars hands down! This is much more fluid and stable-looking than another patcher I tried. Also, if anyone is having problems, consider that your original ROM file may be at fault. I have a SMW rom that I've played perfectly fine for years, but no matter what I tried I could not get the patch to work with it. I tried downloading a different ROM of the same game and it combines with the patch perfectly.

I initially give it one star because it wasn't working on my device but the devs told me that the problem was caused because I turned on don't keep activities from the developer options and yes indeed that was the problem. After turning off that option it works like a charm and it's extremely simple to use. I am very thankful devs for the quick reply and pointing out what was the problem .

I really like Unipatcher but when I try to patch something that's .xdelta and then save it, it has 0 bytes. I have to rename the xdelta and run it through Unipatcher which then gives an error but once I change the patch back to .xdelta it patches fine and goes from being 0 bytes to whatever the game is supposed to be. Idk if I explained it well but it's really weird. I've found a way to make it work but it would be better if I didn't have to do that every time.

I used this to patch a ROM with an XDelta3 file and it worked like a charm. If you're having trouble using this app, remember to make sure that neither the ROM nor the patch are compressed (like in a Zip folder). Also, there may be many different versions of a game even for the same system, some of which are not compatible with the patch for that specific ROM, so make sure to read the instructions that come with each patch carefully and take note of words like "Rev" or "PRG".

This patcher is amazing for installing mods on your roms! Problem is, I tried to patch with 1 bps file to patch one of my roms then when I go to my Wii Nintendo 64 emu it says invalid ROM. I would give 5 stars if it wasn't for that overall, amazing app

Worked great for patching AeterSX2 to NetherSX2. Today I tried patching GT4 Online Beta to GT4 Spec II but unfortunately it fails with "Error: XDelta3 internal error" after approximately 30 seconds. But otherwise a great tool! Thanks a bunch.

The fact that this is our only rom patcher on Android is a crime every time I try to patch the game it doesn't transfer the data from the vanilla rom to be patched rom I'm not going to use an app that won't let me use the basic feature it's ment for I hope you can fix this issue
