When it works, it's great. I can't count on it to connect both wirelessly and wired. Mostly, the wireless is the problem. If it does connect, it might just stop for no reason. Songs stop playing out loud in between tracks sometimes (the track progresses but no sound comes out). If it weren't so glitch, I would love it.

The connection issues are very real. I use a dongle in my 21' CR-V hybrid. Until the recent update everything was fine. Now, my phone on the swipe down screen is showing looking for AA. I have to now swipe down to show active apps, and stop AA. THEN , within seconds it opens itself, and immediately connects to my car. It's a pain having to get my phone out every time. It also does this wired too. BTW, I noticed with my car off, and me nowhere near the car, phone is searching for AA

I thought it was only me! I have to hit uninstall, then update every other time I get in the car for it to work via Bluetooth. Love it when it works properly, though. Update 10/15/24: read a bunch of recent posts that say exactly what I am experiencing! No consistent connection. Disconnects at the worst time. With or without a cable! Update 11/9/24: latest update seems to be pretty seamless in it's wireless connectivity with my 2023 Genesis G90. The stop signs and lights on the map are a bonus.

Android Auto has been a game-changer for my daily commute. The calendar integration is fantastic, allowing me to seamlessly navigate to appointments by simply selecting them from my calendar entries. It even remembers my recent destinations, making it incredibly convenient to get to frequently visited places without any manual input. The hands-free messaging feature is another lifesaver. Overall, Android Auto is an awesome application that streamlines my driving experience.

No complaints so far. Works seamlessly with my S24 Ultra and connects wirelessly to my Toyota Rav 4 infotainment system with no issues. It is also customizable enough that I can see what I need and hide what I don't. You just have to go inside the phone app to do it, then restart the app for the changes to take place on the car screen. I will play with it some more to discover what else it does, but for now I'm completely satisfied.

TBH I'm not tech savvy nor, until I bought this car in Sept, have I had much technology in my car. Now however my 2025 Chevy has Android Auto and I'm into it. I've received phone calls which went smooth. I've gotten texts and really like the audio read function. Plus it's so EZ to respond verbally to texts without losing focus on driving. Last, I use MapQuest for directions. My car and phone sync perfectly.

Android auto has probably one of the best user interactive experiences. The amount of vehicles that the system is compatible with in conjunction with the features available make this one of the best experiences while driving. From navigation to available apps the way the Google Assistant can read or summarize your text messages mixed driving a breeze. It's like having your own personal co-pilot.

Android auto is Horrible. I have a 22 car and a s23 ultra and it disconnects every time i drive due to "wifi interference" but theres nothing but open land around me. And it won't reconnect until you shut the car off for a minute and restart it. I under stand an issue every once and awhile but every time is unacceptable. This technology is going backwards because I have zero issues in my older cars through just Bluetooth.
