Love the app, I just have a few notes: I wish there was a Sound option for directions only (no alerts), while alerts still appear on-screen. When arriving at a location, the directions should include which side of the street it's on (arrow visible on the map as well). When +adding a stop, the directions should include when you've arrived at your first location and what side of the street it's on (waze voice and on-screen).

It'd be nice if you all would not lie to me about how far something is. For example: I'm new to a city and looking for a particular grocery store, the list said it was 8.9 miles (15min) away. I select the "closest" one and, nope, 16 miles away!!!!! AND there was actually another store down the road MUCH easier to get to than this first "match." Fix that!!

I give up on Waze. Have been using for years but is now intolerable and unsafe. There is a dangerous town known for car jackings that I try to avoid when driving and choose alternate routes on the app, the app ignores my selection and always goes back to the default. In the rare occasion it does allow my selection, mid driving in reverts back to the default. Also, the volume is literally triple on this app vs any other, so blasts my ear everytime a warning or turn is coming up. I turn these off.

Great but logged many miles and earned reward points fit traveling a lot but still a baby wazer. Frustrating. Keeped from being higher rated. Great to see the updates with the themes now. But every time I try to save anything. It says update error. Try again later. Later has been weeks and months and it still fails to update. Kind of sucks.

This was my favorite app, super accurate and fun with the added things like car selection, emoji and reports of traffic weather and the blue light cars. But the recent update or since daylight savings the app no longer does darkmode at sun down and illuminates my entire truck while driving at night. Distracting and I don't want people seeing in my car. I hope this fixes soon. I won't be using the app at night until this issue is taken care of.

Good until you have a detour. I find this app quite useful. But it needs to have alternate routes always available instead of only available for new destinations. I discovered a high use local road closure is not on the map. I have now reported it through feedback. I was unable to mark it as a closure because the app kept marking my driveway instead. I have an appointment in a fews days with no way to reroute to it. I have no idea how long this route will take as it's a really long detour.

Don't even bother with this app! Downloaded this to try it out since it has more reporting options than Google maps. Compared routes at work and was pleased. Got in my car and it rerouted me for some ungodly reason, adding 45 minutes to my commute. App crashed mid route and I had to switch to Google maps. Never using this again.

This used to be a 5-star app but recent updates have ruined it. I now get frequent and unpredictable pop-ups that cover the screen, late turn notifications that don't allow time to get in the correct lane, frequent verbal instruction to make illegal turns, and the most aggravating of all... it changes voice from UK female to US male, mid-sentence! I have verified that both the app and the phone settings have English-UK selected.
