The navigation part of the app' is 100% foreigner friendly. Thank you Naver. (Now you need to turn Naver system - especially the booking and food ordering system in English and it will rock!) /!\HOWEVER /!\ @developpers Over the latest versions, there's a bug in guidance, or at least a lack of compatibility with Spotify. Indeed, if Spotify is running when you start navigation, the guidance voice will not work. --> we need to force closing if the two APK before restarting first navermap.

Pretty much what others said already, the app doesn't translate the names of certain places, so I had to guess where my train/bus stop was. My main issue is the photo section of places. I wanted to see the photo of places to see what they offer, but there are so many pictures that have NOTHING to with places. Why am I seeing picture or videos someone walking their pets when I wanted to check out restaurants? The teams at Naver need to clean that up or organize better.

This app has been touted as the best app (even better than Google Maps) for tourists in so many blogs and videos. Finally I installed the app, opened it and typed the hotel name. As I typed, a list popped up BUT IN KOREAN LANGUAGE. How a tourist supposed to know Korean !!! I typed few other places and ye suggestive list was always in Korean. I wrote this review so I don't install it by mistake again.

lousy privacy blocking very bad bad bad experience. i lost my phone and end up need to relogin with google, it end up block my account. all my save location was gone and i am traveling with high high high pressure. it is user unfriendly app, causing problem to foreigners.

I've read that Naver map is a must for anyone planning their tour to Seoul. So I downloaded it, registered, made a list of all places I'd like to see... All this only to find out the next day that my account is blocked due to "unsafe location". Ridiculous.

Super awful and extremely unfriendly app for international travelers. Not only do you get no search results for English addresses and store names, but it even gives you incorrect information about buses.

This app is not user-friendly for foreigners. Only a handful of elements are translated, with the majority remaining in Korean. The desktop/web version crashes whenever you attempt to translate it. Additionally, the registration process is nearly impossible. The blue dot on a blue track with a blue arrow is impossible to read when navigating. Overall, this app is a hassle to use, and I can't imagine anyone outside of Korea finding it practical.

Ok, after using it for a few days, the app is great for providing direction using public transportation.. very accuratem However not everything appears in English, even though tou change the language to English. Also, I'm assuming bc it lacks the capability to look for things in English, it doesn't do a good job finding things so I look for them on Google maps and then enter the address. Also, when you enter the address, add name, number without the district and/or country. Naver won't find it.
