This app is a scam because they give you the option to have a free trial month and it wasn't like that. The same day I cancelled the subscription, I was surprised that a charge for the month had already been made when the cancellation had clearly been made, they didn't let 2 weeks pass to make the charge and at the moment I made the cancellation they again demanded $25.00 dollars for a cancellation? That you didn't have the option to refuse to pay because they would charge you anyway. A rip-off

I spent over 3 years working on my family history on this app, and now I can't even access my tree with well over 300 people on it. There is no technical support to reach out to. I have to start all over and add people again and merge them. My memories are even removed from the app. However, the app still has all I have done on the app photos included. You can see it on other apps, but this is truly upsetting, to say the least 😒. I get it is free, but this is so disappointing.

I have to sign in and change my password every time, even though I am writing down the password and know it is correct. Sometimes, my information on my Tree disappears. There are gross mistakes that someone entered, but after going on a family history, search in person and have learned the truth, I can't change the errors. It is a very poor site, and mistakes are frequent and large because anyone can enter a claim, and no one checks the info.

Love the app! Helped me go all the way back it 1400's on half of my maternal side, as others have mentioned in their reviews, there are a few glitches, and some inaccurate things that will take some time to sort through, but to me that is a small fee to pay, for NO ADS, & a free research tool plus a free family tree builder. When people attach a back story or notes to a perrson its like a window to the the past , like you're there with them witnessing their life story play out before your eyes.

It's a pretty good app. There are inaccuracies, but you can get a place to begin. If you locate info that's isn't there, and for example, add it to the wrong place or person, it's almost impossible to correct sometimes. The app itself is buggy lately and I have to sign in again every few minutes, often. That's so aggravating when attempting to research, refine, compare, etc. After all, what's the point in an app when I could likely do better just signing in to the site through a browser?

Definitely a learning curve when developing the family tree, though once you stick with it and are very detail, the reward will be great. The layout and the features are actually very clean, friendlier than other sites. I happen to go big, so my wife's tree is way over the top compared to many other trees. It took me a lot of trial and error to really get the hang of the app, but it really is well thought out.

I love this app, but when I'm reviewing record hints where a name isn't aligned with the person in family tree, it pops up with a message when you try to move it saying to 'click and drag to realign with a family tree person', but you can't do that on a mobile device. Only option to fix these records right now is to not use mobile from what I can see.

It's always been a great app. Not perfect, but great! This new update during the night is HORRIBLE AWFUL NONSENSE! Now, one must go through every single person separately in a source to attach that source...even if it's a census and you have the family members found already. The work has just slowed considerably. Whoever did this does NOT do family history or they would have understood the mess they made.
