After pulling my hair out for literal hours trying a wide variety of apps and techniques to transfer my data between device versions, Swift Backup took care of it like old hat. I was skeptical as the cloud upload wasn't showing up initially (the cloud profiles "feature?" isn't very intuitive) but once I understood what I needed to do, crisis averted! This service was more than worth it.

I've been using this app for a long time, it works like a charm and helps me a lot when I'm moving apps around. However, there is one problem. Whenever I upload my apps to google drive, format my phone, and try to restore, it says that there are no backups. I hope there is a fix for this! Edit: Thank you, all works perfect now :)

It's really a great app... Stylist UI, easy to use, fast and understandable... But I would give the 5 stars if it had the option to delete specific apps backup and not the whole thing, so you can have a better sense of the things you need and don't need... Yet, looking forward to more updates, hopefully we get that feature! Update: The development team contact me and pointed me to the right direction! Thank you! Great app! 5 Stars!

Third time was finally a charm!!! I finally get the hype. I knocked a star off because of the first major data loss but when I did this on an a11 to a different a11 phone it worked great! Be careful of migrating a11 to a12. I may need to look into a separate transfer method for working across versions ---- Old post Second time trying, second time nothing restored. Should have stayed with titanium regardless of the bad reviews people say about it.

Switched over from TitaniumBackup. So much smoother, such a nice experience to use. Prettier interface and much easier to use. Doesn't lag or crash and gives great update bars with clear indications of what's going on. Wish: Would really love to see bulk wifi restores. That bit of functionality still works in TI, so using it for that still, I have like 60+ saves from coffee shops/friends houses/public spaces/airports/etc

Update: now refuses to work if it detects Xposed. This is not acceptable. Old review: Feature-wise, it's now better than Titanium Backup, and it works with modern android packages. It also backups and restores package pernissions and WiFi networks. BUT all backups are forcibly encrypted, and the app won't let you have the encryption key. That key is tied to your Google account. So if Swift Backup would stop being updated, or you lose control of your Google account, your backups are useless.

I think the only thing that would make this app better is an option to backup magisk modules and maybe internal storage! Overall an amazing app and well worth paying for! Edit: there seems to be a bug where if you don't have enough storage on your phone to be able to back up that app locally, you can't back up to cloud either. Pixel 4 XL Android 12.1

Makes me miss Titanium Backup just a little less. In-between the complexity/versatility of old skool android where you could do anything no matter the risk, and today's uniformed/safe systems you have to sell an organ to change a button; a few projects (programs) stand out that find ways to mix the two very well. This is of one of the leading examples. It can still be done. I do resent that a wrong click won't brick your device. Made success something to be relieved about.
