This worked really good for about two weeks the all of a sudden the keypad started freezing up. It would crash everytime I tried to dial a number. I Uninstalled and reinstalled, checked for updates, and no luck. Still freezing an crashing. Really sad to have it end like this. It was extremely helpful with being hands free at the work station.

Update 8.2024. Charging for SMS by the message? Are you kidding? For UNRELIABLE SMS SERVICE? ABSURD! Update 5.2021- New voicemails take days or longer to show up in the app. Update November 2018: Now app doesn't send or receive SMS. App still doesn't save settings. Have to re set the "cellular assist" everytime the app force closes, which it does frequently. Also, wouldn't need "cellular assist" if the calls were routed efficiently. SMS is a joke. Horribly unreliable. THIS APP IS TRASH

Was a great app, but i've been having to use it more often due to issues with work phone (related to new ISP) - app doesn't want to load VM's, can't always reliably ring, or able to swipe up to answer calls. App could use a bit of a fix up lately IMO. Oh, and it's stopped completely loading voicemails - the bubble will say that there's 1-2 unread/unlistened, but go to that tab - "you currently have no voicemails". Yes I do. Show them to me!

Avoid 8x8 if you can. NOT made for small business. Great in Theory Constantly getting "message failed... cannot connect to server" kind of destroys the utility of the app & service. IF it was reliable, it would be awesome. Taking my "work phone" with me in my personal cell is fantastic. But the messaging system is HORRIBLE. EDIT: downgraded to 1 star. No fix and it has gotten WORSE! "Chat not available for this number [any number other than office extensions]"

BT doesn't work very well. I place a call and it often will hang up, or I won't be able to hear through my vehicles BT set up. Occasionally, calls come through with a delay making it difficult to converse with people. Even on WiFi connection is not always solid. If it wasn't for my work using this service, I would have left a long time ago.

Horrible app and horrible service. I'm switching back to Ricgcentral as soon as possible. 8x8 is holding me hostage with their poor contract. By the time they got service transferred over, their 60 day cancellation period had lapsed. The app doesn't work properly, the desk phones don't work properly, and the customer service is a run around. I've spent over 30 combined hours on hold with customer service in the first few months and still can't get it work g right. I had high hopes to bring all of my contractors over but I am advising against it for everyone.

I would really like to give this app 4/5 stars, however, i am experincing 15-20% of my business calls having issues. I will be on a call, all of a sudden the opposite end cannot hear me as i can hear them. I have to disconnect the call, shut down the app then reopen, and call back to the person i was speaking to. If this is not fixed i will have to search for an alternative.

Terrible customer service. They can not be reached. A call is always scheduled. They say they will call you at a specific time, however they usually do not. Along with lots of tech problems dropped calls. Used them for almost a year. Our business suffered tremendously with lost and dropped calls. Now I have been trying to cancel for 2 months with no luck. Now they are even harder to get ahold of. They have resulted to lies about us trying to cancel. Go with a different company.
