Due to coronavirus the cycling community I'm in have had to stop all of our events due to the amount of person to person contact required. This app has allowed us to not only run races while staying within government restrictions but has also opened up a whole new avenue of audience participation. The interactive live map allows people to watch their friends racing and we also did a commentated steam of the entire race through twitch with fans in the chatbox and phone interviews with the winners. The events we run have been a staple of the underground racing scene for decades but they've never been a spectator sport before. Moving beyond coronavirus the potential this has for the community is enormous. Considering how powerful this app is it's quite user friendly- however it still requires a bit of brianpower and effort to get it set up correctly. I think the documentation could be improved to have a section on basic setup, currently it seems like a lot of the normal functionality is assumed to be self evident and I'm not quite sure it is. Konrad at support was enormously helpful with my enquiries with detailed responses in a very short amount of time. If you're unsure about this app then reaching out through there will help clarify things. Thanks to the whole team at Racemap and I wish you all the success in growing this platform.

Our club uses this tracking solution to run our annual event as a Virtual Race (due to social distancing in 2020). Now, the event is active for more than two months, and our previous experience is 100% positive. No problems and no complaints either from our participants or spectators. What we do right from the beginning of our event: we provide detailed instructions on how to use the app, to prevent confusion. We like, that the results are calculated from real geolocation data - not just a picture or screenshot with distance and time like other virtual race solutions. This concept makes our event more objective, nearly like a real competition. Using this Tracking App makes all data available real-time in the Leaderboard and in the interactive map. All in all, the App is not fancy, thats right, but it just does what it is supposed to.

I ran a online marathon on my Samsung s5. I selected the marathon. I recorded it. Payed for it. No sign that it did not record. Time was running. I saved it. It was 11km. 10km race. The most disappointing competition of my life. Nothing happens no time recorded in the end. State as if I did not record anything.Useless app disappointing online competition format.

By far the worst app I have ever used. Complicated to get set up and start. Could not see how far ran or left. Ran over the distance, but race map did not record it. Tried to import my kml file and this fails with out any logical error message. No real support to help

Horrible user experience with a sloppy inconsistent back end. Trying to figure out how to track a runner is almost impossible and even more difficult when the app is unable to connect with the data. Just use life 360 and delete this.

I like this app for its features, when taking price into consideration. I don't think there is another racing app out there, that can offer live tracking of up to 500 participants and 5000 spectators for the price of 30 EUR pr race. The look of the app and website is not modern and the UX is not that great. However with a little will you will learn how to use it. I just arranged a race for 30 people in my company, and it went well. There were some bumps along the way, but the app enhanced our experience. My biggest feature request is ability to extract race times after a race is over. Currently racemap only allows you to compare runners during the race. After race is over, I would like to know the order of runners, their end time and split times. The creator of Racemap (Konrad Treppe) is extremely quick and helpful at responding to inquiries. Use him.

Absolutely and disappointingly inaccurate measuring of distance. I used it for an event, but was very disappointed to realise that instead of the actual distance I walked, this app measured the fourth of it. Not going to use this again for sure

Awesome app for tracking event! Downside: sometimes the map suddenly not showing any participant/dots. Had to exit & re-select the event to fix.
