The Holy Bible: Easy to Read Version (ERV) is an English translation of the Bible that makes it easy to read and understand. The ERV Bible uses simpler vocabulary and shorter sentences. This version will be useful for those who have difficulty reading.
The Easy to Read Version uses the Biblia Hebraica Stuttgartensia (1984) as its Old Testament text with some readings from the Dead Sea Scrolls. It also follows the Septuagint, an ancient Greek translation of the Hebrew scriptures, when its readings are considered more accurate. For the New Testament, the ERV uses the United Bible Societies' Greek New Testament (1993) and Nestle-Aland Novum Testament Graece (1993).
In 2004, a major revision of the Easy to Read Version Bible was finished. It used broader vocabulary and greater use of gender-inclusive language.

I love this app because it's easy to read. Iam not a very good reader and what would make this app absolutely the best bible app of all would be to have this in bible audio with out any glitches. It's the absolute best app I've come across so far for plain easy to read english but I just have trouble reading myself and letting information stick in my mind. If I had audio it would be fantastic

Honestly why is there no page for books of the bible, the only way to acces it is going through the daily verse. I think that's not good enough, as for the translation/version it's just what I needed. Please add features that would brighten up the app not just White/Black. Thanks

I feel it is very important to start off with an easier version, a more simple version of the Word if we really want to grasp the Lords Message.
