Fantastic free app. You don't feel short-changed even if you don't pay for the premium version. I just wished it was a one off purchase instead of a monthly subscription. For newcomers, it would be great to suggest shortcuts =) Sold by your dedication, receptiveness and humility. Gonna subscribe for now. =)

Works great in Google Keep and Google Docs, both of which have nonstandard text input fields and foiled other expanders I tried. Nit feature request: an option for "day of year (three digits)" in the list of Insert > Date variables Permissions: Needs full accessibility access, unfortunately, but so does every text expander app. And I'm paying for this one, which makes me feel like it's probably not harvesting my data.

I am truly grateful for your swift answers. However, the problem is I want to save a few seconds and if I had time to read long dissertations on how to avoid the conflict between your app and Android OS, I'd probably could do without any app to help me write faster and use shortcuts. The solutions must be embedded in your app updates. Should I look forward to these amenities?

Sounds promising. But unfortunately it's much too expensive for me as an occasional user. And the free version does not allow adding a single "template". :-( I would buy a lifetime deal at a much lower price. Hint: Black Friday.

Typing Hero works great for some of what I need. I would love it to work in password input boxes, and strangely, sometimes it does, and sometimes it doesn't. If it ever works always, will update to 5 stars. Edit: Thank you for the reply. Is there a reason that it does work in some password boxes though? +1 star for the quick reply Edit: Understood, I guess out of your control then. 5 star app for what it is able to do!

Sorta kinda useful but sooooooo expensive if you want more than ten text expansions, so there's kind of a limit to how useful you can allow yourself to find this app. Like a lot of security-conscious users, I have automatic updates turned on, so using an old version isn't an option for me unless I decide to download the app from a less reputable source, defeating the object. Which meant the first I knew about the new limitations on free users was when I hit one. Sure, it'd be worth a few pounds, but thirty pounds for a lifetime license is almost the price of a cheap physical macro keyboard or a new-release PC game, and about six times the price of other automation software such as Tasker. And paying monthly is a little hard to swallow for something that runs entirely on my own device, ongoing development notwithstanding.

All the five text expander android apps on the PlayStore are useless besides time and energy waste 1. In spite of enabling Accessibility Service and whitelisting for 'No Restrictions' to run in the background in Xiaomi phones done including all the advice of the developer. SwiftKey and GBoard have shortcut driven autotyping without hitch but swell in storage space up to half a GB. There is no match for Windows apps like TypeIt, Phrase Express, Autotyping, Typing Assistant, Intellicomplete etc.
