The App almost never start automatically when I run a session from my computer... I have to run it manually, which makes it far less interesting and actually puts you at risk of being distracted. Just wasted one hour because of this. Not very happy to have paid the annual fee right now, considering how dodgy the app is. Other than that, it's still a wonderful solution overall and it helped me a lot so far. But get your stuff together and make an app that actually works 100% of the time!

Excellent app for fighting distraction. The main and HUGE issue is that the sessions do not start automaticly as programmed. You need to open the app for the session to start. If this is solved this would become a five star review! Edit: After Freedom feedback works perfectly! Many thanks!

This app is amazing. Does what it says on the tin, and it is the only app that works on all platforms, with settings that are shared between them. The settings can sometimes be hard to find, but the documentation on how to use it is great. It works so well I got the forever subscription, and I am very happy with it

Great app in general, but: (Oct/24) A bug that keeping blocking apps when a session is ended in another device (-1 star) Two features that I miss a lot: - ability to disable a schedule. This is helpful when I'm on holiday, for example, but I don't want to delete my schedule or do something strange, like change the day of the week when it is turned on (-1 star) - allowed apps list. When I need only essential apps, instead of blocking hundreds of apps and remembering to add new ones to list

Edit: has a lifetime subscription on website. But app only gives subscription option. No reason to ever use website if I'm trying to reduce phone usage but fine. App is ok at what it does, but would be good to have tracking statistics so you can see improvement over time and be able to set session limits or app open limits. Pretty limited functionality compared to other apps even with paid version. It's fine, does the job, but there are better apps that can do more that are cheaper or free.

Retracted my last review about how easy it is to disable on Android, but the recommended solution to it (blocking the settings app) is not too satisfactory, as depending on your device, important functions such as fingerprint authentication and wireless pairing also get blocked (they're popups from the settings app, I guess?) Also, an option to save recurring sessions would be nice.

Missing key features that would make this 10 stars: Incorporate stats on how much I use my apps/ browser on PC within the dashboard like in the app Stay Free. That would make this app perfect. Edit: If there's already a extension for that, why not incorporate it into the main Freedom app? Seems like an easy and logical way to improve it and compete with Rescue Time and Stay Free 🤔

For the second time, there are no active sessions on my phone but this app is blocking me from accessing my Gmail, YouTube and all other apps on the block list. This is a complete deal breaker on an otherwise amazing app. I'm literally paying to have my phone bricked at random times when I actually need to use apps and websites for work. I've double checked and it seems that this app is blocking stuff outside the schedules I've setup and my manual sessions. Insane.
