It's not bad! I have this app for a school program I am in. It's just that it's so hard to navigate through this app.

Concept is great, but many usage problems, one was constantly having to reselect the conference I was at. Another was the menu buttons felt backwards, the menu key kicked me out of what I was doing, and there was this "more" button, and the bottom row that seemed to have all the stuff I wanted. When you click "more" it looks like part of the hamburger menu, so it constantly reinforces the click hamburger for more idea. If Yapp is closed by the phone it starts over, instead of remembering where you were. So fix this up a bit and it would be awesome.

Most recent update is completely broken on Android. This is useless without working notifications and the options are grayed out in the Android notifications settings. Last week, I r ceived the notifications leading up the event in question and the notifications stopped as soon as the event started making the experience terrible. Meanwhile have confirmed this still works for iPhone users. Dev responded that this was fixed 4 days later. As a vendor at a 3 day event, this is absolutely no help.

Edit: Whatever the developers did recently makes it all work now on my phone! The main app opens, but when I try to go into the Yapp I've been invited to (or even the sample provided) all I get is a blank screen.

great concept used it both at a conference I attended and a conference I held. needs to be more user friendly. wish more used it. loved being able to put all important files on yapp instead of emailing. had few that could not open or understand how to use

Concept is good but to make it great the features and UI need some polishing. Hope to see improvements by the author on the next version.

The constant spamming of the app by BeachBear Weekend has made the app un-BEAR-able to keep any longer. A new notification from them every 15 seconds and why hasn't the developer done anything to stop it?
