Saw an ad for Rooam at the Deadmau5 show at The Anthem. Downloaded while deciding on my drink. It was super easy to set up, I was able to order my drink by writing on my phone and pay by showing the large code on the screen. Didn't have to shout over the show which was amazing. Would definitely recommend. Only downsides: $1 fee per tab (totally worth it for the convenience) and you can't tip bartenders individually (make sure to keep visiting your favorite one!).

I don't know if I am late to the game on this or if it is as new to others as to me, but it's awesome! Used it at the 9:30 Club. You can open your tab before you even go in, and close it from your uber on the way home! No more cards to retrieve the next day 😜 And at the bar you just flash them your phone screen real quick. Highly recommend!!

I love this app and will gladly rate it higher when it works for us again. At the last 2 shows at the Anthem where my wife and I tried to open a Rooam tab, the app just hangs at the loading screen with the logo. It happens on both of our phones. Tried it on home wifi, club wifi, and cell network. My wife was able to uninstall/reinstall to get it working, but same thing happened again last night and that process didn't help. Been using it for years before this with no problems.

Great concept for an app. Super convenient and easy -- I can close out my tab whenever I want without waiting in line. Had some issues (apparently caused by the bar, not the app itself) and the CEO personally reached out to fix it. I appreciate their strive for good customer service and that they made my issue right again. I will use this app again and into the future.

used rooam at an event. it was the preferred method of payment by the event organizers. it was easy to use -- well worth the $1 service fee. i forgot to close my tab, but they sent me a text reminder next morning. there is no itemization, but i just ordered two glasses of wine -- easy enough to track. app suggested an appropriate 20% tip. i didnt try to change it up/down. if i left a cash tip, i'd want the option to deselect it.

Used Rooam for the first time (09/08/19) when I went to a concert at the Anthem in Washington DC. Dang if this app doesn't make things CONVENIENT! After several food & drink orders, I simply hit the Settle Tab button and BAM, I was good to go! No waiting for the bartender to tally things up and get to me; my running tab was right there on my phone. This app was a GREAT idea. I hope more establishments start utilizing it! A++ from me!!!

In the past when I was at a crowded bar and want to leave I would have to wait until I flagged down the waiter and gave them my cards to pay. I understand being in the weeds because I have been there as well. With this app the waiter doesn't have to get back to me and I don't have to flag down my bill to pay. When I want to pay I open the app and close out my tab by myself. Download this app if you go out to multiple places in one night. Super Convenient. 5 stars

The user fee is not clearly stated anywhere up front. If you accidentally close your tab and open another one you are charged twice. Tip is automatically added at 20% before you close out, unlike IRL when you close a tab first then add a tip on your own. Update: You are still not warned about the fee BEFORE you use the app. Don't use it.
