UsynligO lets you run orienteering races at any time, even when there are no flags in the forest.Select an orienteering map from the app and print it. Press start and navigate to the next control point using the printed map. There are no physical flags in the course, but the app tracks your locations and notifies you with a sound when you have found the next control point.
The app includes a compass so you only need the printed map and your phone to run a race.
If you would like assistance you can ask UsynligO for a "hint" with the direction and distance to the next post.
You can also choose to publish your elapsed time to the UsynligO server and be included in the result list for the course you have run.The result list will include how many "hints" you have used, in addition to your time and split times.
If you want to publish a new map so other users can run your course, you can go to www.usynligo.no and upload your maps. UsynligO supports both normal courses as well as Score Orienteering courses. In Score orienteering the user can visit the control points in any order.
UsynligO basically lets you arrange orienteering practices and races without the hassle of putting physical flags in the forest. The courses can be available for as long as you determine.
UsynligO also supports rerun of courses from Livelox. If you already have the map, UsynligO can retrieve the course information from Livelox and notify you when you are at the proper location etc.
UsynligO supports Wear OS. If you have a Wear OS watch (i.e. Polar M600) and it is connected to your phone, UsynligO will automatically transfer the selected course over to the watch when you open a course in the app (login to the phone app, select UsynligO (or Livelox) Events. Then select an event and also select a course in that event if there are multiple courses. The course name and Start button will then appear on the watch. You can then leave the phone at home and press "Start" on the watch when you are ready to start running. The watch will notify you when you have found the next control. When you have finished and within the reach of your phone, your leg times will be transferred back to the phone app and you can choose to publish your result in the result list.

Very easy to use. Some question on whether a feature was on or not. Alert tone changed. The first five points sounded a single loud beep, the 6th just vibrated, after that it played a jingle. Unable to view my track. Or any others.

It was easy to upload a course and to open it in the app. The only complaint that I have is that I can't get the icon in the notification area to go away after I'm done using it.

I prefer Maprun app shows who else has run and you can reinstate controls that haven't registered

Has worked well for a couple of courses in western NY.

It was bad, it was glitching and did not work at all.
