The app allows you to save and track your BAC, location, and date/time of the test. Your information is never shared unless you explicitly choose to share a result with a friend or family member.

BACtrack was the first company to ever receive FDA clearance to sell breathalyzers to consumers for personal use. Using a personal breathalyzer is a great way to enjoy yourself responsibly. It has trouble connecting or staying connected but works well when it does. The map that shows other user readings is horrible. They haven't updated that in years. The map is peppered with old data and its no fun to view at all. They seriously need to do something with it. I have to sort of wonder how accurate it is if the app is so sloppy then why would I assume the hardware is accurate?

Excellent, but... Seems to do an amazing job (used with C6). But for the purpose with which it is intended, Google has absolutely no business knowing my physical location just for utilizing Bluetooth. So I'm deleting the app. Such a shame. Could have been a contender. At least make the app available elsewhere.

Overall it looked promising, connecting quickly to the device without issue, and the app being modern looking. However, the app continuosly refuses to let me see any of the devices readings, force closing the app as soon as I tap to see it. I give it 2 stars because, if this bug gets fixed, the app is nice looking and responsive. Kinda cool. But the feature that's not working is kinda the whole point of the app.

Minor stability issues but not as bad as some negative reviews say on my phone (s9), experienced a couple of crashes but usually works so can deal with it. While it's warming up if you push the lower half of the screen it goes back which is annoying. Would be cool if you could put your age, weight, and sex into your account to get better time to sobriety estimates, as well as a time since last drink. A time to below legal driving limit based on your location would also be cool.

As other reviews said, this really doesn't work with BACtrack Mobile reliably at all, and the company hasn't been able to fix it for five years, so there is zero hope. It takes forever to get reading on my Pixel and fails repeatedly in many amusing ways. Either it fails to connect, or the connection drops, or it fails to start countdown, or it tells you to breath without countdown and times out or it fails to transfer the result. It's really a comedy using it every single time! Closing the app and turning BACtrack repeatedly off and on will usually eventually deliver a result if you have enough patience. You may even sober up by the time it actually does. I recently got hold of BACtrack C8, and that seems to work much more reliably. Plus it has standalone mode. I would rate this four stars for use with C6. Minus one star if used with Mobile. If you haven't gotten the breathalyzer yet, do yourself a favor and get C8 or maybe C6. If you're stuck with BACtrack Mobile and this app, good luck getting the reading.

It doesnt stay connected to Bluetooth , which is awesome becaise i can still use my headphones and other Bluetooth devices without interference from the app. When needed, it pairs with my phone and works amazingly well. I would like an option to download readings, month by month and all ever recorded... that would be perfect.

Logged in with my email and password. But as soon as you get logged out you cannot log back in. Attempted to use the recover my password feature but it claims that my email address thar I previously logged in with is not found. Basically renders the feature that saves your records useless because every time I'm logged out everything gets erased. Only if I stay logged in does it save them.

Worked great on my iPhone when I had one. App does not work on my Razer Phone 2 or S9+. Same issue on both. App opens, connect to Vio unit, push to start the test, unit immediately disconnects then goes back to searching. Developers obviously not making too much effort as is evident by the fact that I've seen the same issues and complaints ongoing for Android since I bought this 2+ years ago. Seems hit or miss for many.
