The Animal Rescue League of Iowa is located in Des Moines, IA and serves the pets and people in our community. The ARL app allows you to view all the pets that are currently available for adoption and the pet lists update every 30 minutes. Looking for a specific pet? Set up parameters to receive notifications and when a pet matches your criteria you’ll be notified and can come meet the pet!You will also find all of our locations, access to the ARL Animal Connection podcast, list of upcoming events, and can donate to the ARL to support the thousands of homeless animals that come through our doors every year.

I loved the app - until the most recent update. Now it does not show the animal pictures any more... Have already cleared cache, uninstalled, reinstalled, nothing... Very disappointing. Update 5/20/2020: issue fixed, app works great! I love that it sorts the animals alphabetically and not by animal ID (which the website does)!

Good app, though wish you could search by size as well. I am not familiar with all breeds and have no other preference other than looking for a smaller breed of dog.

You CAN'T sort or filter out animals by age, breed,color,sex or even if they have pictures or not
