Wanted to use this app as a slideshow for a memorial to a lost pet. After adding, cropping, and organizing over 100 pictures, (which was easy once I got the hang of it, hence the 2 stars) I find out that the slides won't advance on their own, nor can I add video (like I heard was possible) I am now going to have to repeat the entire process on Microsoft PowerPoint. At least on there the slides can advance on their own and you can have animations.

I love Google Slides. All of Google's productivity apps are designed to put usability first. There's nothing fancy about Slides; it's just a simple, clean app with all the features you need and everything right where you'd expect it. I appreciate the Google Drive cloud integration too. Being able to access my work from any phone or computer in the world is awesome. Oddly enough; I mostly use Slides as a photo editor for social media. It's surprisingly good at that; lots of customization options.

6 months ago this would have been a 5 star review. They updated it and removed one of the best features; the "Explore Tool". It allowed fast and easy layout suggestions of each slide. For example, if you added 2 images and some text to a slide, it would give you a handful of artistic suggestions to use to create an engaging slide with a single click of your mouse. They removed it and gave us nothing to replace it. A huge step backwards.

Fine if you want to reference a presentation or maybe present it, but editing from the app is awful. Can't change background. Can't delete a slide (press and hold does not work as they say). And changing fonts or layout is clunky at best. I'm a big fan of the desktop version and will continue to use it, but the app is NOT good for editing. I suppose that is due to trying to keep the size small, but dang, don't lie to the user. C'mon, Google.

ABSOLUTE UNLESS AND HORIBBLE FOR PHONE USERS. Don't waste ur time like me. You can't edit the whole image/slide. It will stay like a little white rectangular in the middle of ur screen and you can't change the size. Then, if you want ur text to be bigger, u are left with almost unreadable/very small letters to fit the slide properly or the bigger text that goes over it. If you want to change the text size, it's also not working properly.I had issues with downloading files, and very hard to edit

I am writing to suggest that please have a glance on the font size option, it must be a manual option that a font can be chosen manually, the current fixed font size is restrictive and doesn't accommodate different user preferences or needs. A manual option would allow users to select a font size that suits them best, improving readability and overall user experience. This flexibility would be better for a smooth accessibility and personalization. Thank You!

On PC this app is great! You can make whatever you want and make stuff with your friends, family, ect. And if you want to put an image up you can use google images. However on mobile if you want to put an image then you need to screen shot an image on google the go back to slides to put it there. It's not just that there are a few disadvantages on mobile. But PC and mobile can still work together. And you can still use the app offline on both mobile and PC.

The app is great for creating visual presentation of data... This is really helpful especially for pple who have a lot of data that needs to interpreted in a more fun yet professional way ❤️❤️Giving the app a 4 stars cause the fact that transition effect can't be used on mobile phone is quite limiting. But asides that it's great🌟
