I used to love docs, and I would use it for literally anything. I write a lot, so this app comes in handy! However, it's been lagging a lot lately... I've tried everything the docs community advised me, but it won't change anything: random letters are capitalized, when I erase something it comes back and it makes everything awful, and well overall the app lags a lot. It's such a shame, because I can't even use it at all and have to find other alternatives to write my stories.

Update May 2019 - downgraded to three stars because the "keep a copy offline" DOES NOT WORK. If the mobile signal is weak, or doesn't exist, then the response is always a "sorry, can't open this document". Please fix this. Wish list: would be nice to be able to edit styles and insert a table of contents directly in the app (without doing it via Web version). For updates, please say something more useful than always bug fixes and improvements. What? Be descriptive! ;-)

I've used the Desktop version and it was an amazing experience. It would be nice if you could add the 'Custom spacing' or the space before/after paragraph feature into the mobile version. This allows more control over the format and spacing of the paragraphs, making it look neat and tidy. I dislike my documents when they look cramped together, especially the bullet points and numbered list. Keep up the good work!

It's perfect for writing documents. However, it's annoying and difficult to remove files on my phone with shared access. I've tried deleting it on my docu, but it still shows up. I've tried going to the drive itself, but the file is missing when i click " go to the files location," and yes, it still shows up in the document itself. And apparently, what resolves it is by blocking the gmail 😮‍💨

It's terrible. While it's very amazing on laptop and useful, it can't be said the same about the android app, it's very slow, and lags a lot. For example, I've edited a document on my laptop about 3hours ago, yet the modifications didn't appear, I've had to open and close, refresh and uninstall the app a few times for the modification to appear, just for a message appeared on my phone telling me that the app is slow, and to either wait or close. And it's not the danmed first time.

This app was great; I used it to write all my university essays. However, it's now difficult for Arabic writers because some features have been removed. If you copy Arabic text from another source and paste it into the app, the punctuation marks are not properly aligned, and the app doesn't correct them. Previously, there was a feature to adjust alignment, but that is now missing.". The missing feature is paragraph mark((¶) so u can't format paragraph now. Thanks for responding

It's nice and convenient, but I just found some issues regarding on fonts. There are just limited fonts you can use on this app. Edit: Additionally why I can't edit my files and add new files it says that my storage is not enough even though the space is just fine, is there something wrong with the app that must be fixed?. The app is really nice and I can say, it really has advantage on me as a student.

App is no longer usable- there seems to be an error that pops up if you exceed a large word count limit, and it errors that it cannot perform grammar check, but it does this every time I try to type a word. Messaged from the app about, hoping for an update that fixes it, then back to 5 stars... I've written hundreds of thousands of words without issue till recently... (had to get the latest version...) on phone it makes it impossible to see what you're now typing due to where the error pops up.
