This app is designed to slow you down to keep you from bowling! It is all about reducing wear on machines. Why would they have a "leave game" button at the bottom of the player setup screen? How often do people leave games right after getting pictures and names in? How often do people at that point expect to start a game? Like every time! So why not have a "start a game" button at the bottom of the player setup? To slow you down! Also, the animations are not great.

App only works about 40% of the time. Most of the time it shows that I am logged in with what lane I am on but the scores never show up and I end up having to choose 'Leave Game' the next day with no scores in the app or sent to my email. I forgot to select 'This is me', so maybe that's why. Very frustrating.

Member QR Code won't load. Since the last update, the member QR code will not load. I've uninstalled the app multiple times and reinstalled and I can't get it to work. I've spoken with other team members in my league and they are having the same issue. Up until the last update, the app worked just fine. While I didn't use all the features, it was a very cool app.

It worked great at first then ended up not recording my 5 games after, or it's very very very slow, it's been 40 minutes after and nothings loaded. It's sad to see my game high and 5 other games not get recorded. I was super excited before this.. if it actually ends up recording all my games, I'll be sure to edit my review. But till then, what a bummer. Edit 1: Scores wernt recorded after all, but sent an email to them after they told me to contact them to see what happened. 3 days, no reply.

Downloaded app to use some game features at local alley during my kid's bday party. Permissions are totally busted. I gave it all the permissions it requested, but when I tried to take a picture, it failed and said it had no camera permissions (double and triple checked, and it did). Restarted app. Rebooted phone. Tried on my wife's phone with the same issue. As someone with a career in software development, I have no idea how this got past QA. This is happy path stuff.

Edit: It wasn't showing games till I had one sent to email. Now I have two games saved, but it's only showing two of the four players. I like the idea of the app, but it's not intuitive, at least for that part. I'll keep using the app and update if I figure out more things. I appreciate the response from the devs.

To the Developers 1 - The app is not intuitive. I don't say this offhandedly as I've not met anyone in the bowling center who got it going without help. The biggest hurdle is the fact that after joining a game, you need to hit edit on your name and then click "this is me" for it to work. It seems pretty silly it can't identify you. 2 - A professional option? Remove the kiddy stuff and points, add 100 games to the database, and add more metrics like easy spares, splits, ball speed etc.

Nice app. My issue is that it shows everyone's game stats (5 of us), but only 2 individual scoresheets are shown, and it's not the same 2 people. I asked the front desk, and they said it's an issue with a lot of openlane accounts. Therefore... mine isn't the only one with this issue. Hope it gets fixed to where I can see my families scoresheets on the app.
