Car Timer was built to help you time the acceleration and the top speed of your car.The app provides the option to have the timer in a 0-100km/h / 0-60mph mode or in a 0-50km/h / 0-30mph, have it record the top speed in km/h or mph, or a completely custom run that you set, meaning that no matter where you are and no matter what car you have, you can always rely on the Car Timer to track your car's performance.
And now, the app can even track 1/4 or 1/8 mile (0-400m or 0-200m) runs, making Car Timer one of the most complete app of its kind on the Store today!
Inside the app, there is an option to share your results so that you can show your friends just how fast your car is. For computing the precise time it takes your car to achieve the required speed, the app uses some clever techniques to estimate just when the speed is reached, as the GPS is only providing updates about the speed about once a second once you start moving.
Always obey the existing traffic rules and follow the posted signs!

Absolutely terrible. Completely inaccurate..my Z went in 2.2seconds? Really? Twice? And theres 5x to try and then forced to pay. Pay for what? Just to get a 0-60 time? An INACCURATE time?

Galaxy s21 ultra phone. I turned it on, set the GPS location as precise. On acceleration I did half throttle and wanted to compare the speedometer against the app. It went semi close to the speedometer until 30 and then the app jumped to 55mph then down to 15 then jumped to 55 then up to 60mph. During this time I was gradually accelerating and never even made it to 45mph. Where I live GPS and 5G connection is very strong typically four to five bars.

The app does a great job, it would be awesome if we could measure more than 1 type on the same time, for example, 0-50 and 0-100 speed and the distance as well, because most of the time I'll like to know how my car has performed the acceleration time and the time in distance.

I know it's a free app, so thank you for taking the time to make it, but it's inaccurate as hell lol. I had full 5g bars on a brand new Fold4, testing my 0-60 after some mods with my car. My car when stock is rated 0-60 in 4.9-5.1sec, i did a few mods for 465hp~, the app shouldve reported 0-60 in 3.9-4.1sec, instead it reports 6.9sec the first run, then 1.2sec the second, 2.5sec the third, and then 1.702 for the final run. Manually tapping lap timer with phone clock gave me 4sec and 4.2sec

Works as intended at this stage. Did 4 runs and they were all around the expected time. Obviously it's a free app using built in phone gps and apparently accelerometer so don't expect it to be anywhere near as accurate as a dragy box or better.

Did 2 runs on my Stelvio and they were consistent and accords with manufacturer spec. The 'Enhanced Start Detection' is good, as it utilises the Smartphone accelerometer to Carrie the first movement of vehicle precisely. So far very impressed.

Won't start. Keeps saying that it must be stopped but the vehicle is totally stopped. Even if it did function, it's still stupid. Why only 5 runs? Why can you not select multiple metrics for 1 run? Too worried about selling the app and not enough attention to making it work right

I have a 12 second car that seems to run 18s on this lol. Fun messing around with it but im not surr its consistent at all but it was free and for an app on a phone i wouldnt really expect it to be 100% accurate. Idk though man thats a hard 6 seconds added to my time lmao
