Pluto is a Smartphone Controlled DIY nano-drone by Drona Aviation, India’s first nano-drone company, based out of IIT Bombay.Pluto Controller is the application used to fly Pluto. It connects to the Drone’s WiFi Hotspot, giving the user access to the Drone’s Flight Control System. Pluto Controller boasts of a number of convenient features that make flying Pluto a comfortable and enjoyable experience.

With newly integrated automated commands, you can now avoid the hassle of manually making Pluto take off and you can now show off with your Pluto with the Flip Controls in the revamped Pluto Controller app!
PILOT PROFILE AND STATS
Create your own Pluto Pilot Profile and show off your in-flight stats with your friends! Compete with them to see who can get the longest flight time!
DIAGNOSIS (INCLUDE CALIBRATION, MOTOR TEST AND GRAPHS)
Diagnosing your drone is as simple as a screen tap away. All diagnosis options including sensor calibration, motor testing, WiFi settings and sensor graphs are available in the Pluto Controller App settings and the pilot can ensure optimal performance from the Drone using these settings.
EXTERNAL JOYSTICK COMPATIBLE
Pluto Controller app now features External Joystick control. If you want to fly Pluto with a Joystick all you need to do is connect your phone to a smartphone compatible Joystick and the best part about it is that you can map the controls on the Joystick according to your preference!

As an intern, this application has been very handy while I was tinker with Pluto. It has also given me a lot of assistance during my debugging process while I was working on the integration of a new sensor. Overall this application is a good replacement to a RC Controller as you just have to connect your phone to the WiFi of the drone and you start flying in seconds.

I am using Pluto drones since 2018 & it's one of the best open source drone which is proudly made in India. Pluto controller app is very much user friendly even for beginners, the controller app have everything right from flying the drone in different modes to callibrating sensors and updating firmware. It also records flight logs which I feel is a very good feature. One more good thing is app never crashers (this might vary from device to device). Overall I am having a very good experience.

The team is enthusiastic, and the training is simple yet effective, making it a great place for drone and mechatronics enthusiasts. I’m starting a POC to use the PlutoX camera for image processing. I read a lot of reviews about this app and was contemplating whether it would connect to the WiFi hotspot properly. All my woes came to an end I was taken by a huge surprise when all the pieces ce together and I was able to take off the drone in the first attempt! Drona aviation is south Aisa's best educational drone OEM and their Pluto controller app (RC controller) is a very handy application for learning how to fly any drone. It's almost at par with any RC controller in the market and what makes it superior is it's smooth interface and step by step guide. User is also able to track their flying skill progress along. Sensor interface in the TILT MODE is fascinating (personal favourite)

It is a good controller to connect & fly Pluto drone, easily accessible, various options to modify, flight logs which is new to track your flights also integrated a Chat Bot which is a big help to ask my doubt with the Pluto drone.... If I summarise all it's a best controller.
