You can travel around your city quickly, eco-friendly and easily with our scooters and best of all, it's fun! Being late and frustrated with traffic jams will be a thing of the past.
How does emmy work? Download the app and start riding your moped. The emmy app is your key to scooter happiness. Use it to find an electric scooter nearby, reserve it and unlock it. So easy, so emmy.
emmy will take care of the rest - we charge the e-scooters so they're ready to roll. You'll find two helmets of different sizes, and a mobile phone holder so you can get around the city.
Creating your emmy account is simple:
1. Download the emmy app and register for 4,95€ incl. 15 free minutes.
2. Sign up & verify your EU or EEA driver's license: as soon as your account is approved, you can ride our electric mopeds.
3. Ride: it’s time to roll! Use the app to find an electric moped near you and reserve it for free.
4. End your rental: park your emmy moped in a public parking lot within our business area to end your rental.
How do you start emmy electric moped?
1. Open the helmet box: Press the red button and grab a helmet from the box.
2. Get it off the kickstand: Stand with the moped between your legs and push the handlebars forward.
3. Green switch is flipped to “Ready”. Make sure that the green switch on the right handlebar is flipped to “Ready” and the side stand is fully folded. If you ride Yadea, push the “P-button”.
4. Start the engine: To start the moped, simultaneously pull the moped brake to activate it and press the “Down” switch on the left handlebar. You are now ready to ride!
Our fleet of electric mopeds:
In Berlin you can ride a NIU e-scooter. Its lightweight design makes it ideal for city riding and commuting. The Yadea e-moped can be spotted roaming the streets in Hamburg and Munich.
It's best to park mopeds on the street in designated parking for mopeds. Don't park in bike lanes, bus lanes, or pedestrian walkways.
How much does it cost to rent emmy moped?
Register for a one time fee of 4,95€ and get 15 free minutes for your first trip (valid for 3 months). A moped can be booked for free and reserved for 15 minutes.

You can find over 3800 electric sharing mopeds in our business area (visible in the emmy app) in Berlin, Hamburg and Munich.

I used to be a big fan of Emmy. They had fair pricing, and didn't resort to nickel and diming customers to make money, as some other services have. Now they have adopted those practices. 1 Euro activations prices, a subscription plan in order rope customers into recurring cost, and it's not like a can reliably find a nearby vehicle as I could in the past As always when a business grows the quality of their product decreases while the consumer cost increases.

the new version of the app doesnt work. i have to uninstall and reinstall the app every time i use it or ill be stuck in berlin and there will be no scooters anywhere on the map. If you can somehow manage ro rent a scooter with the new app, you wont be able to return it and will have to call customer service (while still paying for the rental). The new app also uses tons of data, please roll this app back to the old version!

Scooters are good. I'd say it's a bit expensive though as they're usually more expensive than car sharing; there could be a reason behind this, I don't know, I just find it a bit weird. The three stars only aren't mostly about that, for me it's the app that's really not good: really not handy and full of glitches and bugs (Android)

The App is great, also I experienced the renting procedure as flawless. Unfortunately the Business Model is semi optimal.. when you want to end your rent, there were literally no parking spots. The app provides you with all the ways to NOT park your vehicle... but such a renting scheme does only work if you provide your customer an easy way to get rid of that vehicle ASAP... I have have tight schedule and no time for endless parkin lot searching.

I've used the service more than 30 times. On the plus side they're fast, clean, lock and unlock is quick. On the minus billing is problematic. It's not instant. they gather many charges and issue an invoice later on. That creates confusion. Also if a billing fails they automatically lock your account with notice or anything (like try a recharge or change card details). instead you need to CS over phone in working hours! to manually unblock you after get transferred between 3-4 people

Good idea but very poor execution. The onboarding is tedious and buggy. They charge you 10 euros upfront without telling you first. Most of the scooters you see around the city aren't tracked in the app, which means you can't rent them. When you finally and miracolously manage to rent one, the app doesn't let you end the ride, so that you have to call the support to end the ride. I recommend to never use this product and opt for another company instead.

This is a rating for the app, not for the service. The reservation, unlock and finish rental work great and fast. Also the registration video recording is pretty neat. In general the app itself works and the functionality is fulfilled but is far from a professional app: used 10MB of data for 1 rental (!!!); doesn't adapt to the screen of your phone (menu button half way out); after checking a bike press back goes to map world view; and many many other nit-picks.
