This app was definitely helpful to easily find ways to get around Barcelona as a tourist. Main issue I ran into is the app never recognized when I was actually on the bus, subway, or train. Therefore I had to pay attention to the map and take screenshots of the directions so I could determine when to get off.

The app has significant drawbacks: 1) It charges 1 EUR for no reason if you want to use it as an e-ticket via NFC; 2) T-casual/T-familiar tickets require verification of your ID. It can take up to 48h. Impossible to buy a ticket in the app immediately after you arrive in Barcelona; 3) It's damn slow and lags loading the ticket; 4) The app is useless w/o an internet connection; 5) Not all credit cards are accepted. You can avoid all this by simply buying a physical ticket from a ticket machine.

Like others stated, since the 19th the NFC doesn't work. I found this workaround : go to settings, deactivate and reactivate the NFC (with this app opened in background), lock the screen (the screen should be in the NFC settings, not in the app) and it should let you validate the ticket to enter. It's quite funny. Hopefully it's fixed with the update //nah, it's not fixed, almost a month later the app still doesn't work properly and I have to turn off/on the NFC.// Another edit: still no lol

Update: after a month everything is still worse, they have a non working chat bot (it literally can't understand anything you write). I bought a ticket and next day it disappeared. DO NOT INSTALL unless you're ready for infinite headaches. I literally couldn't pay after recharging yesterday. Original: Like everything the town council does, this app is convoluted, hard to use, and fails without any useful feedback. What a waste of tax payer money

I could not buy tickets via e-wallet. It didn't sync , it didn't see my old purchases and didn't keep my saved lines and places. It seems that you can resolve the issue to log out and then log in back after each update. Also, you need to have T-mobilitat (the app with the green logo) installed as well, and logged in with the same document and email.

Terrible application, the whole idea of this app is wrong not user friendly and unfit for purpose of making the navigation in Barcelona easier: main page map fixed on location (why?), unable to buy ticket without registered T-mobilitat (why?). Validation of T-mobilitat takes days?! Even the vending machines are antique, slow, no contactless, mostly non-functional.

The description of this app is very misleading. It does an astoundingly poor job at presenting any information about anything; ticket prices / zones, schedules, and especially, especially the journey search are all shockingly unusable. It's hard to understand how this was even achieved.

T-mobilitat Phone tab shows "Loading information" forever. Therefore, I was not able to buy a ticket. Unacceptable for a tourist city. P.S.: after 1 hour of attempts I finally bought a ticket for 10.7€ and was not able to use it because of multiple "e-wallet sync error". Fortunately, found WhatsApp support number in the comments and got a refund.
