I've had this about a year. The description reads: "Automatically back up the important things on your phone, like photos, contacts and messages... notice it says "like." Now I personally regard my calendar as an important thing. I accidentally deleted my calendar on another device. had a rude awakening that the backup DID NOT include calendar nor does it have the capacity to include the calendar. in fact you need a non Google app in order to be able to import and export a calendar back up.

No support from switching from an old apple account to android, I no longer have access to the apple account & haven't been able to update the payment (after the payment was declined one time) I've been using Google One through this old account for at least a year. No support so my photos aren't deleted over this payment /transfer of iOS

This is the most horrible service I have ever had the displeasure of using. It doesn't show all my photo albums. When I want to delete somehting from the cloud the only option is to delete it EVERYWHERE. I've been trying for ages to just download my pictures and videos to a USB stick and then delete them to free up some space. But apparently that's near impossible, the app doesn't care about your data only that you buy more storage space!! ): I'm going insane trying to use this horrible service

Very poor customer service. I changed to monthly payment in the app, but it then charged me for an annual subscription, and when I asked for a refund I was refused. In the email it tells you to turn on verification for all purchases to prevent this from happening. I checked my settings and this was already turned on, yet still this happened. Unacceptable that a refund is not granted in this situation. When this subscription expires I will be taking my custom elsewhere!

It's not what I thought it was, but that's on me. I originally subscribed for the 2tb storage, thinking i could back up all of my devices, including my PC. Unfortunately, unless I overlooked something, you can only use it to back up your android devices; phone, tablet, chromebook, etc. The app otherwise works exactly how it's supposed to do, I just can't fathom needing all that extra storage for just my phone.

Needed this to get extra storage and the VPN I saw a nice extra. Unfortunately the VPN often refuses to connect with WiFi routers in cafes and many other places. Hasn't changed for a couple of years. I would Def like to have VPN on all the time but usually need to choose between having WiFi or not. RESPONSE TO GOOGLE: Yes, always updated. Has been issue ever since I subscribed to One. My best guess is incompatibility with older routers in cafes etc that haven't had firmware updated?

I converted from being an Avid Apple iPhone user from 2010 . I have been so impressed with how fast I have learnt to use and navigate through the process of using anotherapp service, I am mostly impressed by how much I save on apps and other services that I can now access for the same monthly payment for a yearly subscription. Go Google keep up the savings and easily accessed information that is always available in a version of dialogue that is user friendly to all levels of beginner to advance

trash. this app is more terrible confusing clutter added to my phone. there is still no clear instructions on exactly what files are where. just show is exactly where the cloud files are. don't have them mixed with my phone files. I should be able to clearly get to ONLY THE CLOUD saved pics for deletion. not to mention the app keeps crashing while I'm trying to clear old files. yes, its currently updated.
