I would reccomend if you're trying to learn a language with little to no knowledge of it. From what I could find there wasn't really a "placement test" so if you're fluent or near fluent in a language and want to learn more I'd reccomend hitting the books rather than an app made for teaching beginners. Overall easy to use and I'd reccomend using for beginners along with other apps or methods of learning.

App seems to work well in free mode. Except I'll sometimes get a notification that 10 free minutes have been added to my study time when I load the app. But when I go to study it tells me I have no more time remaining and must wait for my next free 5 minute time period. I like the interface so far, just don't enjoy being lied to.

Very affordable and it has all the tools you need to learn a language. Only $3 for a monthly subscription and even the yearly is really cheap and you have access to all the languages and material The only problem is that the app glitches sometimes and what's also good is that more languages should be added.

Been using for a bit more than a week and pretty pleased. Only wish there was a report function for errors because I have given grammatically correct sentences which the app rejected. Aesthetically pleasing UI, much better than Duolingos annoying illustrations. Also very reasonable price! If you implement a report function that would be great

Promising, but it is not giving me 5min free a day anymore, after trying the app yesterday. I suspect the timer resets after precisely 24h but that makes it very difficult to use in a versatile way (if it's part of our morning routine and we wake up a little earlier than the day prior for example). If that's the case, could you reset it at a fixed "1am on the user location" instead? This way it'd be more consistent and the users could easily make it a habit (which would benefit you).

Very good app. It only teaches basics but it is perhaps the beas choice choice if you want to go "learn 1000 most frequent words and then use the language" route. However there are two drawbacks for me: it is very slugish/unoptimozed and it lacks in teaching essential conjuctions and adverbs (judging from german class)

Great app, I've been using OkyDoky (formerly Hey lingo) for more than a year, I like the approach because they're teching you conversation and actual sentences. The only thing I dislike are the daily reminders to continue learning - how can I turn them off? I've logged out of the app but they keep popping up and it's really annoying. Thanks!

I was enjoying the experience as a learner with some previous Mandarin learning, however it was traditional Chinese characters and I am familiar (and would like to become more familiar) with simplified Chinese. If this is an option I'd love to hear how to switch but I couldn't easily find an option?
