aRDP is a secure, SSH capable, open source Remote Desktop Protocol client that uses the excellent FreeRDP library and parts of aFreeRDP. Its features include:

- Remote desktop control of computers running any version of Windows except Windows 10 Home. Install a VNC server for Windows 10 Home and use bVNC
- RDP File support in Pro version
- Full Ubuntu 22.04+ support
- Remote desktop control of Linux computers with xrdp installed

Best RDP client for Android. Far superior to others and even the one from Microsoft. Tested both clients with a linux xrdp server and this one worked perfectly while Microsoft's connected but all it showed was a black screen >.< this was like a year ago, maybe they fixed it but I doubt it... it probably works with a Windows RDP server (surprisingly, of course...), but didn't try...

Best RDP client I've found. Much better than Microsoft's official RDP client. Love the trackpad mode. Only thing it can't do is find host by "\\host" method, but works find when IP address or DNS name is specified. I wish it would let you move the remote screen's location in landscape mode when the phones aspect ratio is larger than the remote desktop's aspect ratio. It can also be an issue in left-handed mode if your phone has a pinhole camera.

I'm going to give 5 stars in good faith for right now. Already this is shaping up to be one of the better aps I've tried. However, I'm currently having to lock it in landscape mode because switching from landscape to portrait causes me to get disconnected for some reason. Would really like to be able to use both orientations. However, the dev seems really.

This client is the best rdp client I could find from the play store! tried them all, literally. This was the only app I could find which allows direct input (swipe pan) Only issue is the scaling of the extra keys on my Galaxy s10+. the keyboard seems to overlap a part of the extra keys (it overlaps ctrl, super and alt) If this gets fixed, I will definitely rate it 5☆ !!!

Copy the same review from the non pro version: The best RDP android client I have found. Raises the productivity of a Chromebook tenfold. I can now use a Chromebook with excellent battery life to remote into linux, windows PCs etc and do any work I wanted from anywhere without having to worry about which laptop to bring with me, for what jobs I need to accomplish. Incredible utility.

Works as described. The best feature that most rdp apps don't have is that this app has the option to enable remote sound in the background.

I messed around with other RDP clients, and like this one by far the best. I was happy to pay for the pro version, and also bought the pro version of the VNC client made by the same developer.
