The Jaguar Remote App keeps you in touch with your Jaguar when you're not in your vehicle, delivering greater control than ever before over security and comfort settings.The App's enhanced features, improved functionality and intuitive interface affords peace of mind, more efficient journey planning and greater well-being for you and your passengers.
Use the App to remotely:
- Prepare for a trip by checking fuel range and dashboard alerts
- Locate your vehicle on a map and get walking directions to it
- Check if doors or windows are open
- View journey information
- In the event of a breakdown, request Optimized Jaguar Assistance
- Plan future journeys and sync with your vehicle*
- Connect your favorite music and lifestyle applications to your InControl account for use in vehicle.*
For vehicles with InControl Remote Premium, the following additional features are available:
- Check on your vehicle security status and lock/unlock your vehicle if required
- Cool or heat your vehicle to the desired temperature prior to your journey*
- Locate your vehicle in a crowded car park with 'beep and flash' functionality.
*Availability and function depending on vehicle capability, software and market.
Download the Jaguar InControl Remote App and then log in using your Jaguar InControl username and password to connect to your vehicle. This App requires subscription to one of the following packages fitted to the vehicle:
- InControl Protect
- InControl Remote
- InControl Remote Premium.

Improved UI but needs improvements. Should display the car on the map at the home page like the old app did. Also the font size on the app icon must be increased, "Jaguar Remote" is much smaller (and harder to read) now compared to the old app's logo. Needless to say more features would be useful, such as geofencing (alarm if car drives outside a region), push notifications for start/end of journeys, warning if car is left unlocked etc.

There was an update a few days ago and now remote climate control does not work and it says my door is open. My colleague has the same issue with her car, although hers says the window is open as well as climate control not working. How do I roll back to a previous version which works? Or could you just fix it please. ** to add, my colleague and I have discovered that it works but only when the car is charging. We have tried a few different permutations and it's fairly conclusive.

The app has worked flawlessly for me, I use it everyday to double check I've locked the Cub and see how much fuel she has for the next day. The mapping and trip features work well and I can always see where the car is with decent accuracy. Only used the door lock and climate control a few times but these also worked without any issues. Initially had to get help from Jaguar to set up as car was still registered to previous owner, I have to comment their customer service was absolutely brilliant.

same error when trying to login - Generic Error Unfortunately due to an error, you have not been able to sign in. the same credentials works on iPhone. will update ratings once fixed on Android.

Fantastic when working correctly. Has stopped giving correct info for over a month. Have reinstalled several times states updated but with incorrect info. The map now is just squiggles with no roads. States unlocked when locked, windows open when closed. Made contact with Jaguarincontrol, although looking into it, I'm looking at previous reviews here, and this has been an ongoing issue for several years. Considering whether to continue with subscription, due for renewal very soon

After updating the application constantly returns an error about not responding. "Remote isn't responding"

As it stands the app is good, but I really hope it could be so much more. But as some have mentioned it does have some charging inaccuracies but not massively different. The most irritating though is telling me a door is open unlocked when its not. It has some cool options but it could have so much more. You can heat the car up but not warm the seats, but the biggest trick missing here is why can't we access the camera. What a great security feature that would be.

This app typifies what Jaguar has become. Unreliable and annoying. Very sad that this once great marque should be reduced to releasing something as poor as this. Somedays it works but mostly not, especially the lock reminder which should be one of the most useful features, what is the point of having it if you can't trust it? Appalling.
