No help with support, camera's don't work very long before you have to replace them. No help with cost of replacing. Now they've changed plans and you only get the last 24 hours. Unless you upgrade. Every time I've had a problem, couldn't be fixed and had to purchase a new camera.

Has advertising. Live view is just a blank black screen. Motion alerts work, but takes minutes to load video when trying to play it

This app is totally useless, it's not connecting to the camera,it freezes up, & I can't connect the chime either. This is a brand new camera,I needed to replace my other one because I thought that the camera was the issue, but it's this useless app that is causing the inconvenience.

Sitting 20 feet away from doorbell and it takes 5 minutes before you get the ding. Has a really slow response. People ring the doorbell and leave before you get a notification.

PLEASE WATCH YOUR BANK ACCOUNT, THEY WILL CHARGE YOU A YEAR LATER AFTER YOU CANCEL ACCOUNT!!!! I canceled a year ago, 2023, and Kangaroo charged me again in 2024. The doorbell did not work and had the wrong firmware.

Very pleased with Kangaroo overall. A few little issues I've noticed. Privacy camera requires a very strong wifi signal to work reliably. When in home armed mode, privacy camera only records when set to "Detect Person", it doesn't record when set to Motion Detection. I think that's a bug. Live camera feed will "buffer" forever if the video orientation is switched from portrait to landscape. Support has been OK with these issues but hasn't offered much more than basic troubleshooting. It would be nice if the devs could get in there and actually try to replicate/troubleshoot problems. One last thing, I would love the option for the siren to alarm immediately instead of a voice coming on telling you to disarm the system for 15 seconds or so. I've been told that's coming but no ETA. I know this review sounds negative but I've actually been extremely pleased with the system so the little gripes I have make me want them to address them that much more.

Was hoping for better. I have 4 concerns: 1. The doorbell is not recording quick enough and is missing the person ringing the bell or just shows the tail end of a car driving away. 2. The app doesn't upload the picture stitch quick enough. Person is gone before I can see who is at my door. The video take 30+ sec to load. 3. I am getting motion detection notifications far beyond the 16ft maximum; notifications for every car that passes or everytime the wind blows. 4. Can barely hear the chime.

Hardware VERY slow 90% of the time will miss the event and capture a photo with nothing in it.. In my case you can traverse the length of a 5m corridor drop a parcel and leave. Leaving nothing but a photo of an empty space . App quite spotty too and will rarely send the event even though a photo is saved... Concept is excellent just needs equipment that responds much faster. Will wait for an upgraded version. I am returning this one.. :(
