Sensor Logger collects, records and displays data from a wide range of sensors on your phone & Wear OS watches — including accelerometer, gyroscope, GPS, audio, camera and bluetooth devices. You can also log device properties such as screen brightness, battery level and network state. An intuitive interface allows you to select your desired sensors and preview them live. A tap of a button initiates the recording function, which works even when the app is in the background. You can view and manage recordings within the app via interactive plots. The export functionality conveniently outputs your recordings in a variety of formats, including Zipped CSV, JSON, Excel, KML and SQLite. For advanced use cases, you may also stream data via HTTP or MQTT during a recording session, resample and aggregate measurements from multiple sensors, and create Studies to collect recordings from other Sensor Logger users with ease. Sensor Logger is specifically designed for researchers, educators, and anyone with an interest in collecting or monitoring sensor data on their smartphone. It serves as a toolbox for exploring various fields, including physics, science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM).

This app used to be really good. However, the last update resulted in the fearures getting locked behind a paywall. Specifically, data export requires a subscription and it's not even a one off patment, so basically my data is now being held to ransom.

Overall great app. Using it to collect some preliminary data before we build out something more specific to our use case. The biggest downside has been trying to interpret the exports pushed to our server. Some of the data points aren't documented so we don't know what they are (for example "accuracy" comes over as 1 or 3 - but we have no idea what either means). The app is great, but there are a few holes in documentation so we can identify what we're looking at.

I use this app quite a bit and anothers like it. I would really like to see included if possible is the ability to record and identify infrasound / ultrasound as well as EMF readings like Gauss Exposure , Amps per Meter etc. Addendum : I think it would be really useful to have an option export all data sets as save logs and an auto deletion afterwords if selected. Thanks!

Unable to log sensor data from my Galaxy Watch 7 Ultra or Polar H10 chest strap, sole reason for paying for this app was to compare both heart rate sensors.

Last update locked locked a lot behind a subscription that was available before. You could record as many as you runs as you want, now you can only save up to 10 for free.. and some sensordata aren't available anymore without paying.. At has also bugs where it just doesn't record some raw data.

Exactly what l was looking for. Simple, easy to use and logs exactly at the desired frequency. My only complaint is that the orientation measurements do not follow the same coordinate system as other sensors (positive rotation around X axis gives negative pitch)

it's everything I want in a phone sensor logger, although I still don't think I can access the files while offline. edit: there is currently an annoying bug which sets the origin of every graph at 0 Unix time, meaning in order to actually see the data you have to zoom in a lot

Works very well with Gyroflow! I was able to stabilize my phone recorded video with Sensor Logger and Gyroflow. One tiny issue I have is the app doesn't allow me to export to a local path like "/Download".
