App is not functioning properly as it did after a recent update to the app (MSmartHome) ver (2.22.2) Schedule settings are not sync and I couldn't switch on /off or control other functions for all the ac units through the app ( control fail ) .Really enjoy the app because of its conveniences that i can control everything from the mobile from wherever i am . Please help see into it

App itself still works fine, and my dehumidifier responds instantly, as thought commands were running locally and not through the cloud. However, app says I'm supposed to migrate to SmartHome. I tried many times to migrated, at different times on different days (dozens of attempts now) and it always tell me "Migration failed: system error". I want even register in SmartHome because I am already registered on Midea Air; and I can't log into SmartHome even after resetting my password.

I'm giving one star because if you accidentally migrate your device to the "Smarthome" app, you can no longer use this app unless you make a whole new account. The Smarthome app is awful. And it will never let you migrate back to this app. It's took forever to set up the Smarthome app just for it to not transfer back to this app. This app works good, but it tricks you into doing something that's irreversible.

App doesn't start anymore Edit. So it looks like they no longer use this app to connect with the appliances. According to their website, they are now using an app called SmartHome (MSmartHome). I downloaded it and now I can connect my dehumidifier and control it through there. Midea should really have updated this app to notify their users that they are no longer using this and using a completely different app!

I had trouble connecting my U-shaped Midea 10,000 BTU window AC unit to my wifi. I have 45 years of experience with personal computers - was an IT consultant for 25 years. Turns out my wifi password was too long for this Mickey Mouse software. Shortened it to 20 characters and it connected finally. I tried the Smarthome app first and it wouldn't connect to my router no matter what I tried, but if I connected with this app first then 'migrated' to Smarthome, it worked. Not impressed.

App works and is actually quite helpful as I don't need to use (or keep track of the tiny remote that came with the unit) however, it seems to consume a huge amount of battery running in the backgound (~20%) even though I only use it for like 30 seconds to turn the AC on and off.

Why would you let me download the app, create an account, confirm with link via email just to tell me the app is no longer supported? Like really. ***If you are reading this after April 2024: Just download the Smarthome app from the beginning and use that instead.

App connected to my dehumidifier quickly and without issue... 👍🏽 however the app only lists the current humidity level, and doesn't show the temperature... That's a glaring omission. ... and I should be able to change the fan speed from within the app.. yet there doesn't seem to be an option for that... Hope it gets upgraded, because as of now, it's not very useful...
