Die Edu:Social App ist Teil von Forschungsstudien der Arbeitsgruppe für Soziale Neurowissenschaften der Max-Planck-Gesellschaft zu den Effekten von mentalem Training im Bereich Bildung, Gesundheitswesen und Arbeit. Die App bietet Ihnen die Möglichkeit, an einem mehrwöchigen Online-Trainingsprogramm in Form von sozio-emotionaler Dyaden und Achtsamkeits- und Meditationspraktiken teilzunehmen. Durch das Programm werden sozio-emotionale Kompetenzen wie Resilienz, Empathie und (Selbst-)Mitgefühl gefördert. Teil des Programms sind außerdem verschiedene Fragebögen und Computeraufgaben, die jeweils vor und nach dem Programm Trainingseffekte erfassen.
