Only used it once for school because taking a picture of a physical paper to email to my teachers is difficult with lighting and other factors. And I obviously can't turn it in due to COVID-19. But with this I can get my physical papers, even wrinkled ones, to look amazing. Great lighting, easy to read, all around amazing app.

Amazing app! I was about to send some books to a PDF conversion service, which would imply destroying the books (they cut the spine to scan them) and it's not cheap either (~$20 per book). I like to read on my phone and tablet. This app allows me to convert my books at my own pace, for free and without damaging the originals. Highly recommended!

Great CamScanner (Intsig) replacement. I tried several scanning apps and Notebloc was the closest I could find to features in CamScanner. I LOVE: One time purchase. Easily edit existing docs by moving, copying, or deleting pages. Create folders. Save to device as jpg or pdf. Various document sort options. Ocr - after performing ocr on documents I can search for the recognized text. Name individual pages of doc. Take notes. Batch import. NEGATIVE: No cloud backup. Can't import pdf files.

It's a good app for scanning documents but the main reason I'm using this is to create an archive of important documents that I can store backups of on my external drive. When syncing my scanned files they show up as jpegs with generic filenames, not searchable which makes it extremely difficult to sort and filter them out. For some reason they don't export into folders, using my document names, or grouped using any discernable filename that I used. How do I organize exports? Customization settings for the app are VERY limited.

I used this app yesterday with no problem. Today when I used it, I got a message stating that going forward, files could no longer be stored on the app & you'd have to make a backup. No problem. BUT, the app had already deleted all of my files before warning me of the change. I had PAID for this app. They should have given us warning BEFORE blowing away important files! No way can this developer ever be trusted again unless he can restore those files.

I've come to completely rely on this app. It'll always be one of the first apps I install on my new devices for the entire foreseeable future. The main feature I use is "OCR". For those unfamiliar with OCR, in short what it means is to extract text from a picture. This apps ability to flawlessly extract text from pictures is truly outstanding. I'd recommend this application to anyone without hesitation. I also recommend supporting the developers via the provided in-app link, they deserve it!

Notebloc is a great way to capture any document that that's in print or hand written. The images are clear and easy to ready. Some documents are easier to read after capturing with one of the "filters or modes of capture, if you will". This app is worth the time taken to review and 5 stars doesn't come easy from me.

In general l pretty good app. I am traveling on a boat and carry very little paper. This app works well to photo paper then store it. Customer service is not very good. I should be able to turn off the repetitive delete confirmation reminders and sync to Dropbox. Imo it is rediculous for them to say their app requires a double click confirmation to delete bc it is the "industry standard". I could show numerous apps that have a user friendly switch to turn the double click confirmation on or off.
