Nice app. Only thing I can wish for is a better Auto Picture upload mechanism. Sometimes, the pictures I take with the phone, are not synced for minutes and there's no way to trigger the sync. So I'm just stuck, waiting for it to eventually do it in the background. Would be nice if it would check for new pictures on the phone when pulling down (refreshing) in the main view.

Half-baked sync. Disappointed. Only syncs the camera folder. Doesn't sync pre-existing files. Choked when I selected a large number of files for upload. Doesn't retry uploads (you have to do it manually). Doesn't let restrict sync to a specific wifi name or to avoid metered wifis. The app/project Syncthing fulfilled all my expectations, so I migrated to it.

Flawless integration, haven't come across any bugs so far. The UX is sometimes a bit clunky and some features that are available through the web UI are missing, but only management stuff. Only thing I really miss compared to other cloud software is the ability to add files to my homescreen, as soon as that's possible I'll give this app five stars.

I've expected much more after using ownCloud apps for desktops. Why I cannot synchronize all documents from chosen folder but only pictures and videos? My main goal was to synchronize folder with PDF files to automatically upload/synchronize my notes and annotations made in PDFs on tablet. Unfortunately this app is not able to provide me with such a simple functionality like synchronizing one single folder with any files. It also does not have such a nice integration to Android like other clouds "Dropbox", "OneDrive" "GoogleDrive" and so on. Looking into comments below there are pointless answers from ownCloud to contact them with promise of making app better. It seems that nothing was done with it. Questions about synchronizing something else then pictures/videos was posted like 2 year ago.

Google review policy seems to dislike what I write so I'll use lots of positive words for a situation where there are no positives. Just invert everything I write since this is the new speak age we live in. The automatic upload function for camera is the best. Using a third party app for synchronization via ocis webdav api generates thumbnails. Viewing an image takes less than 60 seconds. Works as intended and generates thumbnails. A viable alternative to other solutions. Just as good as in 2015

I wish to have folder sync possibility and i cannot trust automatic Picture upload function work reliable due its failed multiple times on me now when tested some weeks. Very nice platform though little rough still after all years i been running one. Edit: Negative point for that you cannot select where to download file from owncloud via client as i wish download to usual location example Downloads.

No two way syncs. Meaning you can't use this app to sync files created by other apps - unless it's photos or videos from the native android apps. Pretty useless. Edit: to be clear, the app does allow you to see the content of your owncloud folders. The app however does not sync anything.

There is a problem when external storage is shared in this app. Each time when you refresh is adding an duplicate share folder in the list. To get rid of it disable the external storage and refresh as many times needed for each duplicate folder to dissapers from list. Otherwise fine. Downside you cannot save the file from cloud.
