Despite offline maps the app needs to be online. Maps still need work. Think twice before turning if you don't want to end up on an unpaved road in the middle of a forrest. And yes, I asked the app not to use unpaved roads. Update: it kept sending me into residencial areas and blocked roads, with the obligation of narrow and painful U-turns.

Works ok however it always seems to crash near Birmingham/Walsall. Everywhere else it works seamlessly. Very strange. Did prefer the UI of the old app and ability to see other truckers. Hope they can improve as it has the potential to be very solid. Update. The app will still freeze up / crash by Birmingham. It is as if it's trying to reload the map there. Seems to be an issue by Bristol too. This must be a minor thing to fix

I'd been using Co Pilot Pro for a number of years until a recent update rendered it useless. This was suggested as an alternative, and it's brilliant. Takes a while to set up a vehicle profile and have a bit of a tinker with the settings to get it how you want, but after that, it's amazing. Interface is a bit basic compared to Google maps, but this saves battery life 🤷‍♂️ live traffic, and it's free! My mind is blown, and I'm 9 quid a month better off 🙌

Since the upgrade, this app has gone downhill. It now takes you straight into congested routes, whereas before it did it's best to avoid them. Took me off a congested motorway, which could've been avoided in the first place, onto a B road, which, yep, was congested. I drive an HGV and can't easily turn around. It's a pity, because before the upgrade it was a good app. It now seems slow in picking up the congested routes.

I've used the EW app for a few months which replaced Road Lords app. This suffers the same crashing and battery usage probs as Road Lords did but after the latest automatic update the speed display now stays at zero and it no longer shows the speed limit for the type of vehicle. I drive a 3.8t motorhome and when it did work it showed speeds incorrectly E.g UK motorway 60 instead of 70 I think it incorrectly showed as articulated, while the road Lords app was pretty accurate. needs work.

This app frequently freezes forcing you to restart. This appears to be caused by large sections of map missing. I do the same route every day. Every time I reinstall the app a different section of map disappears. First it was the m5 around cullompton, then the m5 at Worcester, then Bristol disappeared, now Birmingham doesn't exist. And often, the map flashes with a colourful starburst pattern around taunton. Good app. Many glitches.

Great app for where it's at now. Still needs updating on maps as some locations dont show up as being there at all. Another improvement id strongly recommend is a satellite view like Google maps view would be great and helpful for seeing an overlay of places your going to or even just to judge some of the tigher places we truckers drive too. Also the highlighted route path seems larger than the actual road on the map which I'd say should be the same size but that could just be my preference. 👍

They really have flushed this app down the toilet after it's major update. I wouldn't even consider this a beta test as it has so many glitches. I do a regular route and it freezes in the exact same locations every time, have to do a force stop 3 times each way. Sometimes the direction banner is blank and the speed doesn't work. You can't see any other users anymore which is a shame. This app needs updating asap
