• Create a Securus Online account (required for app and website access)
• Change password and 4 digit PIN
• Setup security questions for easy password reset
Video Connect®
• Enroll in Video Connect, schedule a video session with an incarcerated individual remotely from anywhere in the world where you have Wi-Fi or cellular data service at all Securus sites that offer Video Connect.
• Access and view your upcoming scheduled video sessions
• Sync details of upcoming video sessions with your calendar
• Receive notifications for upcoming video sessions
• Manage photos for identification, view transaction history and manage credit/debit cards
• Test Wi-Fi/cellular connection to determine quality of Video Connect
*For best results and to reduce echo, use a headset or ear buds with microphone for Video Connect
Prepaid Calling Account Management for You
AdvanceConnect – fund this account to receive calls to the phone numbers you choose from your contact. You can:
• Enroll and add funds to AdvanceConnect account to always be ready for a call
• See available funds
• Add or change phone numbers that can receive calls
• View call details and transaction summary
• View the last call attempt to a number
• Block or unblock calls
• Enroll in AutoPay or TextPay
• Update or change credit/debit card information
Securus Debit – deposit funds to this account for your contact to use for:
• Calling any number they choose

Securus Text Connect - allows real-time two-way short message communication between you and an incarcerated individual using the Securus app.
• You purchase a package of ‘Connects’ at an incarcerated’s facility and begin sending text messages through the Securus app
• The incarcerated can reply using your Connects and you will receive an app notification of incoming texts
• You can setup an automatic re-purchase of your Connects package when your balance gets low (called Recharge)
• Connects are purchased on a per-facility basis and can be used to text only incarcerated individuals located at that facility
• Digital greeting cards, called ‘eCards’, can be sent to an incarcerated individual with a text message
• Low balance alerts via email can be setup by you to always have funds to continue text messaging

Convenient messaging. Phone is garbage, you can never sign up via app. When you sign up over the phone, once on an actual phone call, if there's like .5 seconds of silence, it drops the call for "inactivity." So, then your loved one loses their place on the phone. Also, this is minor, but logging in requires about 7 different steps to complete if you have saved your password and/or want to use biometrics.

I was only able to use this app for three months, when it started glitching & my loved one could not contact me anymore. My loved one said my telephone rings on his end; but not on my end. I can't even get the mobile app notifications. It worked once, then no matter what I do, it will not show notifications from texts not on the badge. SO ANNOYING! GRRR BABY GRRRRRR!

Is it the app or the facility that EMessages WILL NOT send or be receive on weekends? Terrible for communicating with loved ones. The app doesn't keep me logged in nor notify me, so constantly checking for messages. The help chat pops up every time you log in, blocking everything which I then have trouble closing. Called securus customer service with some questions, after being on hold over 20 minutes I gave up.

The new version is extremely buggy. If you are reading a message for PersonA and you receive a message from PersonB, it pops up in PersonA's conversation. Sometimes if you send PersonA message and swap to PersonB's conversation it shows what you just sent to the other person. It can be confusing. It just started this recently. I'm a Bible study leader so I message with several different folks regularly. You can email me if you want to know more. Thanks

S24. I enable fingerprint and use thumbprint and it logs me in. When I restart, it no longer accepts and I have to type in pw again. When I go to security and emable touch/face, when I click OK, it switches the enable back to disabled. Please fix this or remove the thumbprint option all together. Frustrating.

At first, no real issues. Mainly half my photos don't show up, and the ones that you are so small he can't see them. Text messaging is a waste of money if you have access to any emessaging is your best bet. Buying stamps is the cheapest thing to do on this app 100%. I am not getting 80% of phone calls. pay lots of money for him to call us and I never get the calls or he thinks I'm ignoring him. When in reality it's securis. I know you guys decide who talks. Fix issues.

The app doesn't provide you notifications or emails to indicate when you receive messages. Personally I preferred JPay as it not only notifed you immediately when you received messages, it was also more timely with receiving email notifications without ever wondering if your loved one has responded yet and checking the app every hour on the hour. The only thing securus can be certain to notify is when the balance is low and you need to pay them more money for their expensive "services".

Has worked for years for me perfectly fine . For some reason I'm trying to log in and it says something went wrong please try again . It's been like that for a few hours now. I un-installed and reinstalled same issue. Hopefully it restores itself because I love this app. It's a great way to stay in touch with loved ones that are incarcerated.
