Progress in the Work in Progress app. Been using it for years now. Was never BAD but was never great. Current update is getting it closer to great.

new update removed the map view with all jobs from the app. have to go through the website to see a different map view now. this was the main way i found my next job to avoid driving back and forth across town, very disappointing. also clocking out now will not complete and remove service from the schedule. have to clock in and out twice to complete. please add the map view back to the app, not nice to remove features after a whole company has adapted to it

I beta tested the new version and liked the ability to view completed jobs but it had many glitches while it was beta. Final release improved these and restored the others nearby tab but files load very slowly now, often taking up to 2 minutes to load paperwork that used to take 5 or 10 seconds on the same device. Accidently flipping from portrait to landscape while on the signature screen will lose the page causing me to reload ALL the settings and return to the customer for a second signature.

I will say the app is useful for scheduling. The app has a few issues that caused it to be frustrating to work with. One is if you have questionable service and you're trying to take a photo from the app let's say the service drops out you lose the photo this is happened to me many times. Secondly if you are doing a audio memo in the app and your screen times out you lose not only the recording but it closes the recording app. The other part of the voice memo that causes issues is that if you were to touch the screen anywhere except for the recording bar it closes the recording and you lose the recording that you made. I also have to say the sound quality of the audio recording is painful at best to listen to. This may be because of my phone but I have recorded audio using my phone and uploaded it separately and it sounded better. Thirdly if you use multiple devices to log yourself into service trade and you clock in on one device clock out on another device you can potentially get yourself into a locked state with the app. The developers and support team is excellent. I think that when taking a photo in the app it should save to the phone or device that you're using to take the photo with and possible tagged with the job name or job number. I can see major potential with this app but it does need work.

Works pretty well, although when looking at job listing, it does not display technicians when swiping left and right next to directions link like IOS version does and Android version used to. You have to click into "view more details". Really liked this feature and don't understand why that feature got removed on the Android version.

This app is an abomination. It's made my job more difficult as well as my office personal. Stick to intuit and save the headache.

Sadly, this is the app that the company I work for has chosen to use. I have found it to have nothing but bugs and it is constantly causing problems. Also, i don't know if its through this app or through my cell phone (I do however only seem to find this problem when I am using this app) but my phone seems to have been hacked. I had someone else controlling what I was trying to type in on a work order. None of the guys i work with think that this is a good app.

It is genuinely astonishing how unreliable and poorly programmed this garbage app manages to be, and it somehow gets less reliable and worse with each update. It's made worse by the glitch nature of just viewing text in the app and the fact that it's required for people's jobs. If you're considering ServiceTrade for your company, simply don't. What a pile of trash.
