"This application implements Bluetooth mesh networking for Android operating system. The Bluetooth Mesh by Silicon Labs application can be used to provision Bluetooth mesh capable devices and add them as nodes into a Bluetooth mesh network. The application also support configuration of the mesh models, publish and subscribe settings as well grouping of nodes. The application also implements light and lightness models for Bluetooth mesh, so it can be used to control Bluetooth mesh nodes which implement the same models.

The application implements the Bluetooth mesh networking stack from the GATT bearer and up all the way to the mesh model layer. The native Bluetooth stack on Android is used to open LE GATT connections to Bluetooth mesh nodes with proxy feature enabled."

Provisioning failed on some Android devices. Tested on Galaxy Tab S6 Lite (model SM-P613), Galaxy Tab A8 (model SM-200), Redmi 13C and many others. In all these cases application fails on provisioning at adding AppKey stage. It shows error "Foundation error: 0xFE: Timeout" at the first attempt and shows "Stack error 0x0002: Invalid state" on any further Retry. Works well on most of the Samsung phones. Older application versions, being still unstable, were able to complete provisioning succesfull

Provisioning, configuration etc took about two hourd to figure out. I still don't really know what i did to actually be able to use mesh bluetooth. This needs lots of work to be helpful or usable.

The app is not stable. The app force closes each time I try to delete a device. Even during provision, the app gives errors.

The functionality "Client sensor model" isn't show and the sensor example can't be run . Please update it!

The latest version released on 12/13 is completly broken and immediately crashes when you try to provision the switch or light example from the silicon labs Bluetooth mesh sdk
