Battle the likes of sozzled bearbearians and nuke-addled snotwolves to protect our glowing green world from the sweaty hands of the Uberlich! Krumit's Tale involves the same core deck building mechanics as Meteorfall: Journeys and the same cast of overly optimistic heroes, but expands the ‘swipe’ mechanic into a dynamic grid based system. This means more depth and longevity – our heroes will have to choose perks to complement their deck-building strategy and carefully manage the board if they wish to triumph.+ A follow-up to the popular mobile solo deckbuilding card game - Meteorfall: Journeys!
+ The brave heroes of Meteorfall return! Play as five different heroes - Bruno, Greybeard, Mischief, Muldorf, and Rose - each with their own cards and a distinct playstyle
+ In true roguelike fashion, each run is different! Your journey is built from 20+ unique dungeons, 25+ fully animated enemies, more than 50+ perks (passive bonuses), and more than 300+ cards
+ More than 30 achievements to unlock
+ Feeling competitive? Check out the daily challenge mode! Each day has a different set of modifiers which tweak the rules of the game in radical ways.
+ Mobile optimized gameplay. The game can be played one-handed in portrait mode and auto-saves frequently

This game is fantastic! The first Meteorfall is solid, and Krumit's Tale is still a massive improvement! The 3x3 grid fixes the luck issue of deck based games, and adds new gameplay. Visuals, audio, and lore here are wonderful! Game is still being developed, so there are minor bugs, but also new content is being added. Hope the devs stick with Krumit's Tale for a while; I'm greedy for more content 😆

Alright game. There is an issue with stunning. Every time you stun an enemy and switch between companions and characters, or just go back to your hand and then back to the enemy, you end up losing the stun condition put on that enemy. The progress is a little slow at first, but otherwise the game is pretty alright.

Addictive! Play experiences change each time depending on the character you pick, the way you stack your deck, and what buffs you choose after each level. It's been a lot of fun for me, because I like the variety, the strategy, but also the challenge. Totally worth a buy, because there are so many ways to change up the gameplay. ^-^

Krumit's Tale is an expertly crafted game which greatly expands the depth of the original Meteorfall. Instead of a swipe-left swipe-right gameplay, in Kurmit's Tale you have a lot of options for what you want to do next. Choosing the wrong enemy you want to attack next or using the wrong items can cost you the game, so it is kinda like a puzzle—like others have mentioned. So far, I can tell that there's dozens of hours of polished content, and I'm excited to see what's next in the dungeon!

Fantastic game—and perfect sequel! It reinvents the gameplay of Journeys while still maintaining its core essence, and it greatly expands upon its world and lore. Krumit's narration and the overall sound are great, with fitting, dynamic music, and seeing the characters and enemies from Journeys being animated is simply amazing—the art style has never looked better. Totally recommended to everyone that wants a solid, addictive gameplay experience; a game that it's absolutely worth its price.

A really well made game that builds on Journey's but different enough to be it's own thing. I've spent many many hours on this with only 1 upfront payment and 1 extra hero as DLC, which is a bargain. My only slight wish was that more builds would be viable. There seems to be a clear optimal route to take for most heroes, especially on higher difficulties.

A super fun rogue-lite puzzle. Charming artwork, fluid animations, and plenty replayabilityy. Fun being able to buff your character with various items & perks after each dungeon. My only gripe is that the standard quest is punishingly difficult. I've resorted to just playing Explorer mode with all perks turned on just so I can enjoy the game more, and even then it's still a tight win if I'm not careful. Also, a new map would be appreciated. It's cosmetic I know, but it'll be a refreshing update.

Edit: takin off a star because the Mutation runs have many bugs. I'm tired of enemies being unattackable until I kill another enemy that I already killed. Or an item thats supposed to copy an ability but instead it just fills one of four inventory slots with an empty slot that I can't put anything in. Lame. This game is great (love the art, music, strategy, polish, replayability). So many times I think I can't win and a few thoughtful moves later I realize I was wrong. Make another one already!
