Update: Deleted. I was in Teams meeting when I noticed the app typing what was being said in my meeting in the text box... It's listening. Plus, it's buggy... Original: I can't send video and believe the app is crashing my connection with Bluesound music streaming. Now the text screen freezes randomly... I was about to pay to get rid of the ads. I'm glad I waited...

I think this app has great potential but have to give it 2 stars because the theme, font and ringtone options are EXTREMELY limited - I took a chance and paid the fee to remove ads and get access to the locked theme options but was really bummed when I realized that only gave me access to maybe 15-17 more themes and alot of the themes make it hard to read messages. Also, it would be great if conversations could be customized.

Not horrible but could be better. Needs better features like use my own photos as themes and able to customize individual contacts. The options for themes provided is lacking variety and holiday themes. It just doesn't have the features I think are important and fun to have. The limited setting options is a huge disappointment. I gave it 3 stars because it does function as a texting app but that's as far as it goes. Update your app to include customizable settings.

It's not bad. Emailed support, but never got a response. The program itself is not bad at all. However, about 60% of the time the pictures won't send, and have issues rexicieving them sometimes. I like the private conversation part , but it needs to be hidden in a separate application, cause all it takes is the wrong person to see "Private messages" and then the fight is on. It needs to be hidden alot better, other than that and picture thing, it's does its job.

Has a few bugs that will sometimes make the app unresponsive. Usually only happens occasionally when I am changing themes. I really like the overall look of the app, especially the themes that have moving backgrounds. There is not really anything negative to say about this app, except for the ads. They can be removed for a small price, which I feel the devs have definitely earned I'm excited to see what they do in future updates! I definitely recommend this app.

this is the best app i have seen yet. doeseverything i want. and looks great. the only problem is the ads. there is a constant ad within too of the app and that is fine, but after a couple texts there is a full screen ad abd it it is lengthly. too long in my opinion compared to other apps. and the option to sign up for ad free is pricy. if this keeps up i am uninstalling and moving on again. sadly to say.

While Magic SMS does offer substantially more bells and whistles than competing SMS apps, it also comes with a rather hefty price tag (IMHO). 47.88 per year (when paid monthly), or $00.00 per year if paid for annually. And the cost isn't 'one and done, but is recurring! To be fair, I feel this is justifiable IF the app is substantially upgraded at least annually, but this remains to be seen - I am ever the skeptic. Additionally, there does NOT appear to be a website!

Great messaging app. But for me, I wish videos would open right in this app. I receive alot of videos and don't have the time to watch right away. Back and forth in and out of the app I have to go through all of the videos one by one to delete what I've watched 😩. In the settings it says open in app but it doesn't work. Suggestion: please install a video player for YouTube.
