So the last version of the app was difficult and confusing to navigate but I used the daily Bible to listen everyday to the passages. With the new update, it is gone. Disappointing to say the least. The new app does seem more organized. I just wish they would have kept that feature. I guess I'll be searching for a new Bible reading app in the meantime.

As with many so-called upgrades, we have a down-grade. The older interface had much better contrast for the various options within the app. For example, the font below the thumbnail for the daily episode is smaller and grey on white. I understand the need for security updates, but all too often an update is just an excise for the developers to play and show their "creativity". Many listeners and users are "getting up there". Lighter, tiny fonts on a light background are NOT an improvement.

UPDATE: Not a huge fan of the new layout at all. The older version was much better. My biggest complaint is getting rid of the Bible portion. I used to listen to it all the time. Now it's gone. Also, you got rid of closed captions on the teachings. Big issue with that as well. So for me I need to knock 2 stars off my rating. Fix those two issues and it will be great again. Great content though. UPDATE 2: I appreciate the response. Hopefully, those changes will happen soon! Thanks!

First, I love Ligonier Ministries. But I am having serious problems with the most recent change. Before, I could go to Renewing Your Mind, bring up the current episode, and have a page that includes rewind or forward 15 seconds as well as the navigation bar. Now I get a page with play/pause what I was listening to before. No rewind. If I take the additional step of clicking "listen", I get something like the old page, but no navigation buttons, a dead end. App's not in "full screen" settings.

I've been listening to Renewing Your Mind most mornings (for years). On my new Android phone the program stops every 9-10 minutes, and sometimes quits entirely. I never had this problem on my old Windows phone. Content-wise, it's a 5-star app. --Amended 5/6/20: The issue has been fixed for some time. I am happy to report I have no trouble streaming all of my library, as well as the free content Ligonier had so generously made available during this COVID-19 crisis.

When I first installed the app a year ago everything worked great. Now downloading doesn't work, then it does work, then disappears, then slow going, then Bible reading starts & stops in mid sentence, then casting stops & plays on my cell vs the tv, ...I could go on & on....I LOVE Ligonier & ALL its Ministries but this app need some serious updating. If Ligonier would like a list of all the things that are problematic while using, feel free to respond, I'd love to help resolve the issues.

Great app with tons of wonderful resources; certainly a blessing. However, I prefer the app before the latest major version change. The player in the app is not as good, there's no longer a Bible feature in the app, and verse references in articles and devotionals no longer link to and display the referenced verses. I really miss those features. I do really like that the new version of the app includes a search feature.

We love Ligonier and everything it has to offer! However, ever since the update about a year ago, the Bible does not work well. It's almost impossible to scroll, often tells me there's no internet connection, and the reading stops and continues randomly. Other than the Bible issues, love it. Would love to see the bugs in this app worked on.
