Qld Rego Check is the free and official Queensland Government (Department of Transport and Main Roads) mobile app that lets you check the registration status of cars, trucks, vessels, trailers and motorcycles. This app requires Android version 5.0 or above.Simply enter the Queensland registration number or vehicle identification number (VIN) to see the registration status and other unique details about the vehicle (e.g. description, purpose of use, and registration / certificate of inspection expiry date).
By searching the registration, you can make sure the registration is current prior to use.

Stopped working Cant check if my rego is current or due. Been using this App for years without issues. Tried deleting and reinstalling Still brings up an error when I look up a rego. Checked my mobile system software which is up to date. Tried restarting several times. Just doesn't work anymore. Get an error message when looking up both my car and someone else's car. So its not my car that's the problem either.

it works ok and is faster than using the website. it could be a lot better. it should show your favorite/s on the home screen with live status, so no clicks needed to view rego - or at the very least a button to take you to the favourites screen. Hiding the 2 other (and most used) options inside a menu is bad UX.

Would have been nice if I could add all the regos I needed to monitor to a local database, so I didn't need to type them in one by one.

I have been trying to make a rego payment for days now. Every time I get to the payment section the app says credit card verified and then closes the page immediately. I just rang TMRQ about it. they told me to uninstall the app and reinstall the latest version. I have just done that and still the same error. Rego expires in 2 days and I am working away from home. Not happy.

This app is ok. The biggest drawback i find it has is when you add a reminder to your phone's calendar you can't choose which calendar to save it to and then even if you save to the default calendar, you cant duplicate the entry to another calendar. It says there's an internal error and won't do it. This is all uaing Google Calendar.

Edit: Thanks for the quick reply. I could see the saved record, it was just not clear that it was a result page instead of just the saved record. This could be more intuitive and it also happens on the website. If everything is clear maybe just add a message like "You results are clear, nothing pending". Original: Unable to save my search. I need to fill the vin every time... Also, it would be nice to have notifications whenever something changes regarding your registered vehicles.

Why, when you search with a VIN number, it will bring up rego's that expired back in 2008 along with the plate number, but when you search with a plate number that expired a year ago, it doesn't show up? It would be good if it worked both ways. Alot of unregistered vehicles still have plates attached, and not all have VIN numbers (pre 80's vehicles).

All of a sudden it has stopped working, I have a Pixel 3, OS 11 and last updated on the 5th May 2020, it shows all my registration numbers but when I push search it says can't find, I've deleted the app and reinstalled but still not working. Thanks in advance Geoff. P.S. all fixed now, thx if you did anything.
