like being able to read the eBlade on the go. don't like this app. every time I open it, it will just load endlessly and i need to close the app and reopen to view anything. this happens everyday when I open the app without fail

The only good thing about this app is the content, and, depending on how involved the owners are, that's sometimes questionable. The first time I open a new edition, it hangs up on downloading the fonts. I have to close it out and try again. Then it usually opens. Every time I have to sign in ( e.g. after an update,) it doesn't recognize my name and password so I have to go through the whole rigamarole of creating a new password, etc. It's just so much work.

Since late January 2019, I have uninstalled and reinstalled the app due to it suddenly not having any stories late in the first section. It has a download button that does NOTHING and swiping further does not reveal stories in other sections. It was bad enough dealing with that insane train whistle that accompanied an ad, but now this. Shoddy and sad. Update 7/14/19. Still occasional blackouts. Still days when it days no edition to view. Also, please keep sports to the sports section. IDC.

The ONLY reason I dl this app was for the contests. So I'm really irritated that the app just pops open on it's own EVERY. SINGLE. DAY. When I do try to use this app it opens in full screen, then switches to normal- even though I don't use auto-rotate. Plus it doesn't even load properly, so I can't even read half the articles or ENTER THE CONTESTS (WHICH IS THE WHOLE REASON I HAVE THIS APP)!!!

Since the Blade stopped printing newspapers on Monday and Tuesday I had to download this app. Overall it's ok, I haven't tried other news apps to compare yet. The main complaint is I can't use the backup arrow to go back a page. I can only scroll down through the article then advance to the next page.

I installed the app and selected rich, interactive view because I can't read the traditional view on a smartphone. When I select the interactive view, however, the app freezes up and I can only close out of it. Since I can't read the newspaper I subscribed to, I do not plan on renewing my subscription.

I hate this new thing. I can't get on. I use either my phone or my tablet. I have a subscription paid for. I do everything and then it won't let me on. Very frustrating. It seems everything in this world is an app!!! If it ain't broke don't fix it. Making us only get printed papers was bad enough.

I enjoy NewsSlide...news stories and photos are first rate. Your sports coverage is poor. You select two or three stories and that's it. No High school basketball or football results...no NHL, NFL, NBA, MLB...standing or results. Can't be too hard to add that type of data on a daily basis, it's in the daily print copy, so why not in the daily News Slide?
