I think that my review falls in line with everyone else who finds the cost a bit high. The first three lessons are free, but then you are required to subscribe for either a 3 month or 1 year (auto renewing) subscription for just under $50 and $100, respectively. Personally, I can't justify the cost if I am unsure whether or not I'll commit to using the app, and that's hard to figure out based on only three lessons.

Great for those of us starting without any experience. It's great that the very first lessons are everyday greetings and simple introductions. For those in need of help with recognizing hand movements like I do, there is an amazing tool to play the movements at a slower pace as needed. I've tried so many different apps to learn asl but always felt overwhelmed and confused. For the first time, I feel confident in using sign with others.

Asks for email/info BEFORE telling you they require payment to use the app. Very sketchy. Even if I don't want to proceed with an account (since they didn't mention any payment until AFTER requiring info)they now have my email and info anyways. Great! Definitely not something a trustworthy company would do. I would have paid for it but asking for stuff like that AFTER requiring my personal info is shady. Lots of companies charge fees, so just be up front with it. I don't pay sketchy companies.

I love this app and I find it really useful for learning ASL. I bought a year of the premium for a discounted price so I could keep learning and it's been awesome. However there are some glitches in the programming that make the app feel incomplete or otherwise somewhat difficult to use. For example, the bug that causes the first letter to repeat every time you search a word in the dictionary. Means I have to retype it every single time.

I left a great review about a year ago, before I needed customer service. I still love the app, but haven't been able to use it for almost a week. I contacted customer service who emailed me with unhelpful advice on how to get my information back so that I can resume my lessons where I left off. After two short emails that did not solve the problem, they have ghosted me. They have my money, so now I am expected to pick up the pieces after their app went haywire. My advice is keep shopping.

I really like how the learning is free, although you do have to pay to get flashcards and quizzes there is an option called "signs" which you can learn different words like flashcards but not with the exact words you learned. What I don't like is how sometimes the Signs section has a bug.

I wanted to love this app and use it to learn sign. And for a bit it was absolutely amazing. However I was under the impression that there was a free version that you can use. However it appears the only free acess you get from this app is signing a few greetings and the alphabet. (Helpful but not what I was promised) As I wanted to learn sign affordability and can't pay the subscription fee, I can not access any more which is disappointing. I mostly wish I had know it wasn't free beforehand.

I just finished all daily lessons, ending with a complete 156 day streak! Love this app. I pay for the yearly subscription. I feel it's worth it. The daily lessons take 5 mins or less, which makes it approachable and easy. Dare I say, ADHD-friendly. You can also choose to do more if you want; there's practice with flashcards and such. I'm gonna continue practicing what I've learned. There are very few bugs, which are so small that I fail to recall them. Overall, great app!
