I had to create an account through vital source, even though I already have one through elsevier, which was annoying but not near as difficult as their live chat help. A useless feature since it was not helpful. Once I finally got signed up and logged in, I was unable to find my book, or any book for that matter. I tried typing in the title any which way, I tried the authors, I even tried just the word "nursing" expecting to sift through dozens of random books, and nothing. This app is useless.

Good for on the go. Major downside = any tables or figures in textbooks can't be seen because they're so small. App doesn't allow you to zoom in. I think this needs to be fixed especially for medical textbooks like the ones I have where there's many diagrams, pictures, or tables/figures with pertinent information to know and understand. Increasing font size doesn't fix this either.

I can't say much other than it's a great app to read my eBooks, as a customer of the publisher for 4 years, I'm glad to use this app because I wouldn't be able to carry a book like Robbins & Cotran Pathologic Basis of Disease. Also, could you please come up with a voice pack exclusively for medical books instead of just relying on what the phones may come with? Because the pronunciation errors from the AI or TTS can be really annoying on the read aloud option. Thank you so much.

I found the sign in hack! If you already have an online Elsevier account registered with email and password, make sure you know it thoroughly and that it is correct, if not reset pw. Then open up App and proceed to "create account" instead of signing in with the exact email and password that you've originally registered with. This method had helped me login successfully after many failed attempts of trying to do "basic login and pw" initially by default. Rating is for sign in difficulty.

This app is practically useless for studying on my android. I'm taking nursing classes that have tons of charts, tables etc. none of these show up on the app which is incredibly frustrating. You would think the sole job of this app would be to provide the book digitally, but they can't even get that right. At this point a PDF would be more helpful than this app

Logging in problem, opening the app in different devices problem, not opening when the internet is slow.. apart from those, I must say I love this app (especially bcoz I could listen instead of read, which makes it possible for me to multi-task). I'm happy with the app, but I'll be really glad if the developer could fix the problems I mentioned. 🙂

The app crashes every time I want to read on my smart phone. Technically I can only access it on the computer. I bought the ebook so that I can access it anywhere and anytime but I can't even do that. The app needs fixing its been 3 months now.

I had elsevier ebook+ account with my book in the shelf. This app doesnt recognize the account, as when i tried keying in my email, it stated no account with the email. When i make a new account with the same email, the book is not there. While it is there in the web browser. Kinda useless app then?
