I've used Opera and all of its spin-offs. I've used Microsoft edge and Bing, I've used Chrome and all of the Google products. I've used puffin web browser and Via and numerous other Android browsers and nothing is as efficient, fast and capable as Vivaldi, it's the only Android browser that has a notepad feature in the browser and it allows background play login to your music service in one tab and open a new tab you will be able to listen to all of your music while you work. Fantastic browser!

Finally, a Chromium-based browser with working, encrypted sync that doesn't use Google. There are a couple of problems, however: LastPass sees Vivaldi as an app, not as a browser, so it doesn't take the URL into account and therefore offers no accounts to log into. And there's no easy way to allow third-party cookies on a per site basis. That said, the return of proper sync alone after years in the Brave wilderness makes the switch worthwhile, but it's only on the desktop that Brave comes into its own, with web panels, tab stacking and tiling, built in window capture, sending of tabs to remote devices, and a very detailed level of configurability.

Vivaldi has been my #1 pick for browser for a couple years on desktop now. This app has been a solid experience too. It is by far the best browser UI experience I've had on Android. And the non-Google sync between desktop and mobile makes it an easy choice for me. The only thing stopping it from being my only mobile browser is no addon support. That's still limited to just a couple browsers so it's understandable, but addon support would make Vivaldi the only browser I ever touch.

Absolutely hands down the browser for me. In a world where your options are low-supported third party software, or big tech offerings; finding a middle ground with a company you can trust is a godsend. Since it's built off of chromium you'll still have all the versatility and usefulness that chrome would give you, sync works across all devices, and they stay up-to-date to keep their offering competitive and modern. It has had its hiccups, but years into any browser will do that.

Everything in this browser is good, but in the mobile version, the customization could be a little more in different parts of the user interface. It would also be great if there was an extension in the mobile version, or at least some extensions like bttv or 7tv would work on the mobile version by default. Overall it's great

Usable speed, great sync system, every feature you could ever need (and, somehow, without any of it feeling remotely bloated or unnecessary) and a vast settings menu to get lost in. What's not to love? (ps: The blocker in this app is actually fine. Its defaults are mid, but it has support for custom blocklists like uBO. Play around with the preset lists and import your own if you find things slipping through.)

OK - looks like that was fixed with recent update. either way - back to being my default browser. This used to be my default browser, but now there's a problem with the android keyboard covering up the address bar at the bottom every time I try to type in it. So now I have to use a different browser. Please fix asap! thanks.

Version - 6.9.3446.3 New UI is worse because I can't see total tab number. Tab management became very difficult. After opening new tab it goes on the Upper Tab. Address bar in bottom disappear during searching. I shifted from Chrome. This version breaks my trust in Vivaldi.
