Needs to support all phone app functionality. Biggest issue for me is I have to keep ringer on. Vibrate doesn't work with Extensions. My ideal Vonage "app" wouldn't be an app at all...it would be an eSim where I could use my normal dialer. Wired phones and smartphones with this app often don't all ring on inbound calls. Sometimes it rings and doesn't quit ringing until the phone is rebooted. Moving from one Wi-Fi access point to another (mesh) or Wi-Fi to cellular Internet often drops calls.

keeps disinstalling itself or not working. when it does work it's great but it doesn't tell you when it's going to decide not to work and you can miss an important call. definitely not for critical communication.

not ringing on my phone properly the phone company cell phone companies don't want you using apps they're not trying to work with the apps they're not going to let these apps work. they're greedy they don't want to do the work but they won't let other people or apps do the work. all the apps are fighting each other for total power over the phone system. but at the same time I don't want to do any work. your cell phone company is causing all these problems

Just updated the app 3/3/25 still having the major issue where I'm on a call and I need to check a text message or an emai then it automatically disconnects the Vonage call. The app needs to be front and center with the screen on or it disconnects the call. No suggestions from Vonage.

The options offered are terrific. It comes with a lot of problems. The biggest being it drops calls and happens every time I use it. It is not possible to have a conversation while looking at another app. The call drops every time.

Maybe 50% of the time does the app ring when a call comes in. Messages don't show up for hours. Notifications don't work 75% of the time and the app suddenly doesn't work with Bluetooth headphones. 6 months ago it was fine, now it barely pretends to function.

The app can only be used for out going calls. The app does not accept incoming calls. The call log only has outgoing calls.

So far we have had excellent luck. Even in remote places using the app. One small hitch: touch tone function doesn't work correctly. When you are entering numbers the app doesn't transmit the touch tone properly sometimes so accessing options in some services like AT&T, WELLS FARGO etc becomes difficult. Developers please improve touch tone functionality latest update 2025: all of sudden I'm not receiving calls in the app, even though the receive calls option is checked in the call settings.?
