After trying different apps, some much larger and with more options, settled on Fossify Messages. The design across apps is a very nice idea, but is not taken far enough. Like it seems that the same text size means different things in the different apps. And I would be even happier if in all the apps the coloured circles for the photo, or with letters in it, was removable, as it is in the Fossify Address Book. Am hoping that that feature will come.

This app solves one major Xiaomi MIUI / HyperOS issue: it allows sending SMS messages to short codes without automatically inserting the country prefix. The default Google Messages app does that and, at least on Xiaomi OS phones, can't be turned off. Perfect app for this feature, no ads, no hassles, no complications.

Fantastic hassle free sms app! I was using "chomp sms"! for years, and after the last update, msgs stopped coming through, despite installing/reinstalling, resseting settings etc. So I was looking for a simple sms app, and found this! Simple, Fast, Customizable, notification dot still works!! and most importantly no delay or messages not arriving anymore! Everything works smooth and fast, a fantastic app which saved me from having to possibly factory reset my 📱 Thank you very much ☺️

Very nice basic messenger. I need it for texting one individual at a time. I can attach pictures just fine. No data is collected, which is a huge point for me. I did notice that my scheduled message was never sent and disappeared completely. I will try again to see if the issue persists.

The app is good. But the problem are (1) In most cases I don't receive SMS from friends, but when I switch to another messaging app I receive them (2) When you send two or mores sms, you can only see the double ticks (delivered) in the last sms you send, and not in the other sms.

Good, but one issue means a no for now. It's simple but does what it needs to do most of the time. Group chat is proving to be the bug that makes me have to revert to google for now. Sending something in group chat means that each individual conversation member receives it individually as well as in the group. So, it double sends the message and results in awkward explanations.

Plz add fingerprint locking to open app and immediately lock after closing app or when in recent menu..... Also when new msg pops up we click on mark as read button it takes almost 1min time to work.. Why? It must be done immediately... Also add spam msg blocking feature or add auto categories like inbox transaction spam&lock otp for easy access..

It's a functional app, but it can't seem to handle outbound messages to group chats properly. My messages don't appear in the group chat, instead appearing to be sent to each member of the chat in individual conversations. It's unfortunate but I'll be switching back to Textra until I see an update about this being fixed.
