Listens to Morse code through your phone's mic and translates it to text.

The application is somewhat picky about the listening conditions, so if it doesn't work, try adjusting the volume or repositioning the phone in relation to the speaker.

If you can't get it to work, send me an email with a link to a recording of the transmission and I will see if I can improve the application.

Any other feedback welcome.

This is actually pretty cool. Only a four-star cause I've only used it once so far, for a recording at the end of an old song,(only about 5 seconds long.) I just turned the volume all the way up on the device I was using, and shimmying my phone a bit, it picked up alpha clone at the end. So it definitely works👍. Excited to see what other morse codes I can find to try out on.

Don't be like Jeff is below. This app doesn't care who you are. You'll still need to learn how to use it. If Jeff thinks this app doesn't work quickly, wait until he finds out how hard REAL CW Code is. It ain't gonna come so easy Jeff. I've gone through many of these apps and this is currently the best one. Download it, play with it. You need to place it in the correct location and adjust the volume(s) accordingly. Don't give up so easy and run and post that it doesn't work like Jeff did. "Try Harder" it's the new normal. BTW GREAT JOB on the APP please, please please add a straight key option or text to morse option!!! Combined this would be AMAZING. Jeff, it could be poor code or let's say code not up to par. Bad audio quality and or set-up / mic settings etc. You should try again. There really is none better at the moment. If you have a PC try CW Decoder.

Poor design. Strangely, it does not work on brand new phone. Absolutely no adjustments for speed or anything. Plays mostly EE EEE... with an occasional different letter. I'm not saying the app sucks. I'm just saying it doesn't work on a new Samsung lol. When I downloaded the app a warning showed up that this app was for an older version of android. I don't understand why that would even be possible. Plays along without any control. A way to calibrate would be an asset for this app.

Just like Jacek says, this app is picky about the Morse Code source volume, mic placement, and really even speed. I find that it works best on loud, clear, 20wpm CW. I'm an Advanced Class Ham Radio Operator, and I've used this app extensively to transcribe CW from a keyer that generates random CW practice. This app keeps enough of a transmission stored to permit me to copy about 45 minutes of practice to a text file for later use. Great job, Jacek. BTW - I use this app on a Samsung Galaxy Tab S with Android 6.0.1, and a Samsung Galaxy J3 (smart phone) running Android 8.0.0.

Works well on a clean signal. Would be good to be able to apply a band filter at a frequency and also filter on amplitude so noise on a channel doesn't effect it as much. Thanks!

Worked great! Sensitive to background noise. We had a spirit coming through one of our spirit boxes, talking in morse code, and thanks to this app, we were able to get some pretty intelligent responses. Granted the background noise was an issue, we still were able to pick up what they were trying to say.

Few errors when clean audio and correct levels are used. Works great off SDR receivers around country and placed near my computer speaker. Allows me to participate in QSOs with faster ops while I continue to learn the code.

Needs a speed control. Seems only to be effective up to about 6 wpm. Format is clean, legible. If it could read faster, say, up to 15 wpm, it would be more useful.
